A LAVISH new yacht recreating the billionaire's playground of Monaco is set to become the world's most expensive.

The staggering 155-metre Streets of Monaco yacht is expected to cost over $1.1 billion to build and is modelled on a section of Monte Carlo.

Currently in the design stage, the super-ship will feature smaller versions of the state’s famous landmarks such as the Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack, as well as swimming pools, tennis courts, a cinema, a go kart track and a Hotel de Paris.

Instead of traditional decks the one-of-a-kind ship will have buildings, and instead of a swimming platform it will have a beach.

Travellers will also spot waterfalls, a swim-in Jacuzzi-bar, helicopters and submarines on board.

The one-of a kind ship could be home to 16 guests and 70 crew with the main apartment spread over three floors and 445 square metres.

I’m sure some dumb Saudi will buy it because he can then pull a big ol “In Your Face!” that his yacht has a go-kart track to all the other oil sheik billionaires who don’t.
I’m sure it will do real well during storms on the open seas...........

Noveau riche. Look at the interior design and spot the tacky. It is almost a tragedy in its lack of seaworthiness. Little more than a gaudy, floating hotel. It might as well be floated on a lake.

It will take a while for Russians to remember good taste. Pity, with his wealth, he could have gotten so much more, and enjoyed it more as well.

Plus what do they do with the helicopter when a Sheik wants to play a little tennis? Just hover I guess.

Notice the roads and parking spaces.

I’m guessing just one of those lifeboats costs more than I’ll earn in my lifetime.

Ridiculous, ostentatious, gawdy, but it looks like alot of fun.

Need some large caliber deck guns on it though. Guided missile launcher would be a nice touch too. Never know when you need to deal with pirates.
