If you've ever been pulled over for speeding, you know it feels like you're a gazelle that just got taken down by a lion.
And, while this recession, and the gaping budget holes that resulted, have turned most cities into a jungle for motorists, there are some cities that have far more speed traps than others. And automated traffic cams have only egged them on. Now, they can snag just as many motorists for speeding, if not more, with less manpower.

The best way to protest this is to do what the government wants us to do. Drive slower and deny them the funds. I always make it a point to drive 5mph under the posted limit when I see speed cameras. Even if there’s traffic behind me, I figure I’m doing my fellow man a favor by saving him on a speeding ticket.

Last time I got a speeding ticket I earned it. LOL
I don't see why failing to provide proof of insurance is a problem. For most people, this is a trivially easy thing to do. If someone is driving without insurance that person deserves to have the book thrown at him.
Route 65 in Pittsburgh was the worse I have seen. The boroughs hired retired City of Pittsburgh cops to just do speed traps.
5 miles over and they got you. No ifs , ands or buts.
That’s what we do. One of the worst abuses is aiming a radar gun at a vehicle doing the speed limit when a vehicle in the lane beside you exceeds the speed limit. (Happened to us. Taught us to stay in the right lane as much as possible when troopers aim from the other side of the divider.)
Save your favors, or at least keep to the right hand lane.
On a per capital basis Fullerton California puts these cities too shame. I don’t drive through Fullerton or shop there anymore because it is so bad. They have a large motorcycle unit armed with radar guns. Great revenue producer.
Please try to figure out which of these speed trap laden burgs are run by LIBTARDs.
My money says that ALL of them are.

So you were going slow in the left lane while a faster vehicle was passing you on the right, both of you got beamed at the same time, and you got the ticket? Did I get that right?
And then there are cities like Atlanta, where traffic either forces you to do 75+mph or 5mph, if you move at all.

Aside from Colorado Springs which I do not know about, the other 9 cities are run by Democrats. They are also cities where there are tolls.
