Hold my nose and pull the lever. Obama cannot be allowed to remain in office.

I’ll vote for him, because the alternative is too unthinkable. but I’ll need to go take a shower afterwards.

Get ready for 4(or more) years of Obama. Mitt will lose MUCH worse than RINOs Bush(41), Dole and McPain.

If Romney is the nominee, Obama is re-elected, unless Hillary runs. Then she is elected.

I would choke back my bile and vote for him while expecting the same outcome we got with McCain.

“What if Romney Wins the GOP Nomination for President in 2012?”

Then I’ll vote for him. I do however plan to work like hell in the primaries to ensure that eventuality never comes to pass.

“Do you resent that squishy independent swing vote that is fueling Romney?”

With every fiber of my being.

Columnists write stories like this when they're having brain farts, and can't think of anything else.

I'm not paying attention to the potential GOP nominee until after Labor Day.

Besides, I'm pretty comfortable with Mr. Cain. :^)

If he gets the nomination I’ll probably vote for him and then come what may I’ll be concerned only for the welfare of my family. If the best we can do in this country is re-elect the commie bastard obama (which will happen if he runs against ford-dole-mccain-romney) then it can damn well deal with consequences without me. I’ll move to Texas and hope for seccession.

would have to vote 3rd party, if a Conservative is on the top of ticket. Romney doesn’t have a snowball’s chance of getting my vote.

I will work against Romney and the GOP in that case.

Romney for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

we are pleased with his plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
I also applaud our pRes_ _ent
for standing up to the evil auto industry. "

Romney for Obama in 2010

"Go Mitt. Go Mitt. Go Mitt"

"Rove is pushing Romney so aggressively
some folks are beginning to wonder what's going on,"
grumbled one veteran Republican strategist."

"Rove has made no secret
of his support for Romney as McCain's VP. "

Romney - the Magic RINO:
"I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn't make any sense at all.""
