But did they in the 70’s?

Yes.

I do not know one way or the other.

Obviously not.

It sounds like a riotously good radio show. Plus, the more people hear Farrakhan talk, the more they realize he’s moonbat-guano crazy. Excellent humor plus much needed education—win/win!

I don't understand the typo theory even more. HI’s # that were issued 575-576 040-049 were CT.Would it not involve *mistakenly* typing more then just the zero?

It's the zip code that was mistyped, not the SSN. Take a Honolulu zip code, change the leading nine to a zero, and you will get a CT zip code. SSN's were assigned based on zip code, so if the zip code were mistyped, the computer would generate a SSN that starts with 042.

WRONG~!

Back in those days SSN’s were issued mostly on paper- you went to an office and they gave you one off the stack.

The ‘typo’ error is complete nonsense

I may be missing something in your post, but no matter if a typist made an error, didn’t the SSA report that the # he has used (Amongst others)was never issued? So that blows your theroy. no?

First of all, there's no evidence Obama ever used a number other than the one beginning with 042. And no, the fact that his name comes up in those public databases Orly searched isn't evidence. Those databases are notoriously unreliable.

Second of all, we don't know for sure whether SSA really did say the number was never issued. All we know is that some birther blogger claimed to have illegally entered the number into the employment verification database and had it turn up as never issued. Birther bloggers are not credible sources, so I don't believe a word one says without some independent corroboration.

Third, even if the birther blogger is not lying, that still leaves open the possibility that Obama simply had a new number issued to him after his old number was publicized all over the internet. If I were him, I would certainly ask for a new number if my old one were compromised in that way.

You are mistaken. SSN's were issued from the central Baltimore office starting in 1972:

One thing I can promise you, when I do my search will be thorough, all the way back to the day you joined and I will compile any trollish behavior I see.

LOL. Seriously? You plan to go through my entire posting history from the day I signed up? Wow. If you have that much free time on your hands, you really need to get a life.

If you know how to do it, which obviously you don’t, it only takes a few minutes, but of course, it might take you a long time. I have very little time on my hands, but I will make time for 15-20 minutes searching you back to day one and see what I find. Wish me luck, or should I say, wish yourself luck. If there’s nothing there, it simply means you probably were a conservative and changed somewhere along the line and began to support Odungheap.

Why do you keep posting this nonsense? If there was a typo such as that, then the computer would have kicked it back.

Recently I've become somewhat obsessed with debunking birthers. Not sure why, but I find it somewhat addictive.

Who should get a life?

I have a feeling Mr. or Ms. Curiosity(the Romney, Obamabot) won’t have much time for ‘debunking birthers’ in the near future. He or she will be too busy campaigning for Romney and if he loses(which he will) then campaigning for Obongo.

Obsessed with Romney, but will take Obongo over real conservatives. Past posts tell the true story. Curiosity, is a RINO that would easily swing Liberal if the RINO she or he wants is not the nominee.

Just curious, curiosity. When you came to FR in 2004 your spent almost a year campaigning for Romney, donated the max amount, and said you would never vote for McCain, that voting for Obama might be better for us in the long run. Do you still feel this way and how do you feel about your hero Romney now, in 2011? Also you have slammed Palin relentlessly, as well as many other socially conservative candidates. Do you plan to continue attacks on Sarah and now Perry and Bachman?

Attacks like this one:

“She’s pro-life and pro-gun and pro-drilling. Other than that, I see very little evidence of her conservatism”

“Palin’s popularity embodies everything wrong with our party today.
The idea that so many pubbies would embrace such a mediocrity, just because they think she’s “one of them,” stuns me and makes me fear for my country. It demonstrates that the Republican party has become dominated by parochial identity politics.

Sarah Palin is little more than Mike Huckabee in a skirt. The way the rednecks are trying to take over our party I find very disturbing. right now, the rural evangelical wing of the party is gaining way too much influence.”

or this one:

“Lots of things. Here are just a few.
1) She lacks knowledge of just about every national policy issue, save enegery, and betrays a disturbing lack of curiosity about political philosophy.
2) She can’t speak intelligently about economic policy. She appears to know even less about economics than McCain.
3) She couldn’t speak intelligently about the financial crisis, beyond parroting platitudes about “greed and corruption on Wall Street,” which...
4)Betrays a perverse tendency to succumb to economic populism, like Huckabee.
5) Favors amnesty for illegals.
6) Beyond a few small, token purely symbolic spending cuts, she hasn’t governed as a fiscal conservative.
Beyond her being pro-life and pro-gun, there is very little to like about her.
Hopefully Huckabee will run in 2012, in which case he’ll split the value voter vote with Palin, leaving an opening for someone who can speak intelligently about economics and who, instead of falling for populist snake oil, knows how to sell sound, market-based economic solutions to the middle.”

or this one:

“Not that this matters in the least to me when it comes to Mitt Romney, whom I strongly support. Christianity is not a political philosophy, so it is not necessary that a man be a Christian in order to be a good statesman. I regard Romney as a non-Christian, yet I also regard him as a great statesman and the best candidate in the race.”

or this one:where you are referring to Romney’s healthcare policy:

“It’s quite sound. But don’t take my word for it; please do read about it.
I think conservatives will get it sooner or later. Romney is by far our best bet.

or this one:

“It’s perfectly reasonable for the government to force individuals to do things when the failure to do them has negative consequences on others.
That’s why it’s perfectly reasonable for the government to force you to buy auto insurance, keep your front yard in good condition, mow your lawn and rake your leaves, sweep the snow of the sidewalk in front of your home or business, etc.
People who choose not to buy health insurance take a significant risk of becoming wards of the state. If they get seriously sick, they can just go to an emergency room and stick the rest of us with the tab if they can’t afford to pay it. It is thus perfectly reasonable for the government to require some minimum level of catastrophic coverage so as to prevent such freeloading.”

or this one:

“A conservative believes in personal responsibility. Having health insurance is the only responsible thing. You may have gotten lucky, but by refusing to carry it, you are incurring a significant risk of becoming a burden to society. “

or this one:

“One thing missing from these discussions are issues of a candidate’s competence and skills. Romney started and ran one of the most successful venture capital firms in history. He has more knowledge about finance in his finger than do any of the other candidates in their entire bodies, and he succesfully leverged that knowledge to balance the MA budget, as well as restore its state pension fund to solvency.
That kind of knowledge and experience, coupled with his demonstrated political saavy as governor, will be indispensible to averting the looming financial crisis resulting from all the unfunded liabilities associated with social security and medicare. It’s going to require a financial professional to get that job done, and McCain and Gulliani and Hunter know squat about finance. Romney is the only candidate of either parties with the skills to do it. This has grave national security implications, for how can a bankrupt country run a war on terror?Let’s also not forget that save Gulliani, none of the other candidates has any executive experience. Executive competence is going to be at a premium in the general election as a result of our experience with Bush.”

or this one, which is very interesting:

I would rather see Hillary or Obama win. It will do us some good to be an opposition party for a few years.

or this one:

“99% of the people in those crowds were already pro-gun, pro-life and pro-drilling. The crowds she draws prove nothing more than she’s very good at preaching to the converted. It doesn’t take much, especially if you’re from a place like Alaska, to say you’re pro-life, pro-gun and pro-drilling. Furthermore, merely saying the right things on these issues, which is all she’s done, doesn’t accomplish anything. She’s shown herself to be a true conservative on exactly three issues. There’s a lot more to being conservative.
Furthermore, she’s revealed herself to be somewhat left of center on other important issues, such as immigration and fiscal policy. Now hopefully she’ll go back to Alaska and stay there. “

or this one:

“Romney has backed up his change of heart with concrete action. He’s done more for the cause of social conservatism than all of his GOP opponents combined. “

I will await your answers, then we will go over some more. This is just for starters. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

It’s the disdain that comes through loudest and clearest. Rush talks about it routinely. The country club arm of the GOP despises rednecks, evangelicals and Palin. Oh, but they love Romney. If we could win an election on the fuel of arrogance and condescension, we would need curiosity to run the campaign. Otherwise, a little less high handedness might be nice.

Curiosity “Christianity is not a political philosophy, so it is not necessary that a man be a Christian in order to be a good statesman. I regard Romney as a non-Christian, yet I also regard him as a great statesman and the best candidate in the race.”

John Jay...Co author of the Federalist Papers and First Supreme Court Chief Justice...

“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”
