I knew a crack head that broke into an auto shop to rob it... Police found him asleep under a desk.

guy was funny, had the habit of climbing trees to escape the police; just had to ask the cops that night what were they were looking up in the trees

He didn’t steal anything. He can claim he put the items in a bag to clean up his sleeping area. Even a drunken, court appointed lawyer should be able to get him off with breaking and entering.

That’s what he gets for stealing a boring car.

Technically, isn’t this attempted theft? The items didn’t leave the car.

Maybe he’s narcoleptic. Crime and narcolepsy wouldn’t be a good combination!

Yea, this sort of thing happened to me once.

A UMass buddy was hosting an outdoor backyard party in Cape Cod back around 1988 when i was around 20.
I Lost my car keys at the party and spent like 2 hours looking for them.
I finally found them.

Next thing i know i am being waken up by a rapping noise.
I look up and the sun is up and there is a cop rapping on the drivers side window of the car.
Cop asked me what i was doing.
I was absolutely, completely confused.
I had no idea what the hell was going on.

Turned out i found my keys, got into my car to go for a drunken, blacked out cruise, parked my car in front of some guys house then climed into his car to go to sleep.

It turned out ok, the owner did not press charges and the cops bought me breakfast in jail then let me go.
Thank god.

Ah, The good ole’ days.

ugh
