It has more to do with leftist/faggot propaganda that schools try to keep out than anything else.

You mean there are still organized efforts in this country to get certain books banned?

To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld: "Who ARE these people"?

let’s not forget that the libs ban anything by such notables as Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Walter Williams, etc.

besides - failure to subsidize isn’t the same as banning.

Liberal authors would give their right arm to 'be banned' - it's a status thing with them.

Elite liberals want to offend everyday Americans so they can huddle together in liberal victim-hood and wallow in self-pity. Sadly, the American people don't care - we're 'shocked out'...

They've become a yawn...

Liberals think NOT buying their book is the same as 'banning'.

A school library buys VERY FEW news books every year. Technically every book they don't buy is 'banned' from that library. Books that push fundamental Christianity are seldom bought for school libraries, but they're NEVER considered banned.

The 'banned' book thing is bogus - it's liberal hysteria - an old way elite liberals make fools of themselves. How many times can they trot this story out? The MSM doesn't tire of their endless old stories... yawn.

Usually moms and dads who think that little Jimmy should not be reading "Go Ask Alice" in the third grade and wish for it to be removed from the elementary school library.

Then everyone yells about "It's being banned!"

Nonsense.

Playboy is not "Banned" because it is not in a school library and neither is this banning. They just would rather they decide when their children should learn about some things.

But it gives a bunch of idiots something to feel good about when they stand up for the RIGHT of forcing the public to fund porno for kids.

The big radio push last week was the ALA encouraging “everyone” to read the Koran. The Bible is banned in public schools often. Why not encourage Americans to read that text?

The ALA cited a Florida pastor (a private citizen) who burned a koran in private and then spoke publicly about it.

The Saudi THEOCRATIC Islamic State seizes PRIVATELY owned Bibles and other NON-ISLAMIC texts and burns them in the name of the State.

The ALA asshats can go screw. Who needs them subverting this nation?
