Speaking of 1981:

1981 : (SOVIET-OCCUPIED AFGHANISTAN : AHMED SHAH MASSOUD EARNS HIS NICKNAME "LION OF PANJSHIR"----- see AL QAEDA'S ASSASSINATION OF MASSOOD SEPTEMBER 9, 2001)

Mike Wallace is RESPONSIBLE for Sadat's death.....in his OWN words!!

There is probably a Youtube of Wallace interviewing the Ayatoollah saying to him "I am not saying this, these words come from Anwar Sadat that YOU are CRAZY....Not MY words, Aytoollah, but Anwar Sadat says you are crazy". Then Wallace says "And a few days later, Sadat was assassinated".

This was from Mike Wallace's OWN SHOW that marked his 25th anniversary of 60 minutes or him being on TV.

Look it up and post it if you can.

I detest Mike Wallace and his crummy son Chris.

Good morning.

IIRC, Ayman al-Zawahiri planned the attack.

My company was returning to MCRD San Diego on the afternoon of 11 October 1981 from our week of IT at Camp Pendleton. When our bus pulled onto the parade deck one of the recruits asked one of the DIs who had died since the flag was at half mast. The DI said “How the f*** should I know. Somebody important.” None of us found out that Sadat had been assassinated until we read the paper on the following Sunday, the 18th.

I was very disturbed by this. Anwar Sadat was a brave man to go against the muslim world and enter into talks with Israel. It may have been a genuine and fruitful step towards peace of some sort.
