One of the “99%” posted a pic of herself the other day with her list of complaints....she wanted forgiveness of her $150,000 in student loans she accrued while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Minority Women’s Studies. She was upset because she could not earn enough in her chosen field to service her debt, live to the standard she wanted, and accrue more debt to get her Master’s.
You cannot make this stuff up!
Good on this young gal...she sure has her head screwed on straight....

Just for the sake of compare and contrast, here's a sign belonging to someone who's head is not quite so right as this young lady's is:

If there’s one thing every politician is driven by, it’s keeping LAWYERS employed. This guy is an extra special loser.

Going to law school was a dumb idea to begin with. This country already has more than its share of lawyers. Sorry Skippy, I can’t feel sorry for you. You should have chosen another career.

Or, at the very least, he or she shouldn’t have gone and borrowed $200k for school. What sort of an ignoramus does that?

It sounds as though she had it in her mind that, someday, she was going to be one of “the rich” millionaires and that 200 grand would be “chump change”.

It's a sad thing to say about someone that the world would be better off if he were to die soon, before producing progeny, but this one qualifies.

Going to law school was a dumb idea to begin with. Not if you pair it with something like business.

I don't see it that way.
She's been brainwashed into believing skies will always be blue and streets paved with gold in her world. There are 14 million unemployed. Do not tell me there are jobs waiting for all of them or even 10% of them.
I am sick of hard working job seekers being spat upon by those who haven't yet been ground under by Obama's plow. The unadulterated, uncharitable arrogance represented by that sign leaves me seething.
Being frugal and debt free is no substitution for employment. In this economy, savings have and will run out for many.
Those who forget the old adage, "there but for the grace of God, go I," should themselves some day face destitution.

Holy crap, $150,000 for that degree? What the hell did they do, reanimate Margaret Sanger, and Susan B. Anthony to teach the course?
Where are her parents? One or both of them needs to be slapped. They should have sat her down and explained the real world to her. The only “Womens Studies” degree that justifies spending that kind of money is Gynecology, and that may not even be the case anymore under Obozocare.

You are full of crap. This young lady has been tought that you should not live beyond your means and always strive to better your self where possible.
Of those 14 million that are currently unemployed; how many of them had jobs that did not produce any thing of real value, you are aware that those are the jobs that are deleted first, are you not? How many of those 14 million priced them-selves out of a job and were replaced by a device that could do the job cheaper, more efficiently and did not take personal time off 3 days a week. How many of those 14 million have absolutely useless degrees in Theater Arts, Ethnic Studies, Women's Studies and the list goes on adnauseam.
Don't tell me these people can't get a job, you just have to train your self for a job that people need done.
Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Pipe Fitter, Concrete Mason , Brick Mason, Machinist, HVAC Mechanic, Locksmith, Glazier, Iron Worker, Irrigation Designer / Installer.
I came out of the trades and I could go on like this page after page, not even including the Engineers for design and specification and the Architects that have to put things together.
What your telling me is these people don't want to work at any thing that actually requires work to be done to certain specifications, they just want to do what feels good to them.
If you have even associate degree now days you can get a job, but it has to be a degree in some thing that people need to have done competently. There are employers crying to get good knowledgeable people into shops that work every day, but they are expected to actually work.
It is way past time these kids stopped taking the politically correct and easiest courses just to get a degree and then expect to get hired at 80K a year and a company car for personal use.
GET A REAL SKILL and GET A REAL JOB.
