The last time I checked my enormous memory bank the word means insipid. I’m not high brow at all. I just enjoy the benefits of a good education completed over 50 years ago when it was easier to do so.I know what the word means. I was also educated over 50 years ago.

I find your education to be lacking in at least one area. But that's just my opinion and everybody's got one of those. I can see you are proud of yours.

My point was, since you missed it, that the word "vapid" was unnecessary to your post, except to show off your superiority.
