As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, as foretold in these opening words of Isaiah 9:6, I wanted to wish each and every one of you and your families a very, very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. God bless you all.

Was the night before Christ mas -My house was a mess
List the things that were wrong?- I can’t even guess
When a star caught my eyes -on the edge of my vision
Lighting up a small creche that could only be His’n
When I thought of Jesus -Our Savior was born
The word became flesh on this Christmas morn
And the angelic host I could hear sing again
Marry Christmas to all Share the Joy with a friend.

(given me here /now —with appology for I am no poet)

For unto us a cild is born, unto us a son is given. and the government shall be on his shoulder. And his name shall be Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I like the doctrine this verse teaches, all the names for God and all his persons. "Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (1 Timothy 3:16)
