Looks like this hungry chimp at the LA Zoo never read the sacred scrolls handed down by the "lawgiver". Maybe the Great Ape Team could send this guy back to remedial training? A sign warning visitors not the feed bath salts to the animals might also be helpful.

The adult chimp needs to face the death penalty.

Chimpanzees go to war with neighboring troupes in the wild and even plan ambushes.
I’ll take my chances with wolves thanks.

So the children were exposed to a Post Term Abortion, not much different than a Late Term Abortion. Maybe Planned Parenthood should use this as a training video on how to soften up the youths they council into performing a very similar if not identical act.

Chimpanzees ALWAYS behave like this in the wild, Chimps are horribly violent little critters...
It is just that “Bath Salts” bring Humans DOWN to the level of violent chimps....
Nothing new about Chimps being the @$$-holes of the animal kingdom.

Remember this next time somebody tells you that homosexuality or promiscuity occurs naturally with our simian relatives. Ripping apart smaller relatives happens all the time too - should we also mimic that behavior?

We have made grief counseling available to them, said Denis Verret”
Is this really necessary? We really have become a pathetic society if we need help to ‘process’ our grief. Sheesh!

Jane Goodall observed this in the 1970s or so, where a mother and daughter chimp pair went around killing all the baby chimps. She said it was the only time she actively intervened, by stopping the pair from killing chimp babies in front of her.

Anyone who knows anything about chimp behavior knows that male chimps frequently kill infant chimps. They do this for several reasons, one of them being it brings the mother back into heat faster, another reason is chimps eat meat, and that meat is usually another primate. Baby chimps are primates and meat, hence they kill the babies and eat them.
As a reader of Jane Goodall when she was young and studying chimps I learned all this and more. Male chimps will also kill human babies and eat them.
Male chimps are vicious animals and not the cute little critters they show on TV(those are children chimps, not yet adolescents).
My point is why in the world did these "experts on chimps" have the female and baby in the same enclosure as the male chimp? They should have known better.

Tuesdays violence against the infant, who was gradually introduced to the coed group, was unexpected for the staffers that make up the zoos Great Ape Team. Ape team is fairly accurate.
Retard team would be spot on accurate.

The Common chimpanzee, Pan troglodytes, is a horribly violent animal. I consider them too smart, too strong, and too violent to hold in captivity. They will castrate you and rip your face off. Eating their young, and the young of other apes, including human infants is common. They are our closest relatives. All else follows accordingly. Only libtards think that people are naturally good. Sadly, most people who work with animals are libtards
The Bonobo, Pan paniscus, is less violent. It is also quickly going extinct. If we are going to keep any member of Pan in our zoos, it should be these.
