I still will believe ESPN before you or the rest of you Joe Pa groupies.
For some unexplainable reason, the writer argues against the Freeh Report as if it was some sort of legal proceeding conducted by a true unbiased investigator.
The Freeh Report was an inside investigation by Penn State. And it was accepted by Penn State in its entirety.
Because they knew that a true investigation would have been much worse.
Count your blessings FlJoePa. You are lucky to have a football program this season and a school still standing. By all rights, Penn State should have been completely leveled to the ground and an orphanage put in its place along with a memorial to all pedophile victims.
Really? I lived a good part of my life in State College. I played in second mile golf tournaments. I didn’t know. I knew dozens of football players who didn’t know. I certainly didn’t know anyone else in town, or on campus who knew.
Everyone knew he spent too much time with kids and not enough time coaching, but no one knew he was some sort of pedophile. But you - out in California knew, huh? If you had proof of that, maybe you should have come forward a year or so ago.
See, you don’t have any proof of that at all. It’s just something you heard somewhere - AFTER the fact, and assumed it to be true. Go ahead - you can admit it.
Posters like you and the rest of the haters are as lazy as the media. You all ought to be ashamed.
Listen to what happened to Christine Brennan when she called Joe Paterno that:

Actually, you seem like you should listen to ALL of Kevin's greatest hits. See, Kevin has no ties to Penn State. Just as John Ziegler has no ties to Penn State. They both just don't like what they've witnessed.
A new, pivotal finding of the investigation overseen by Louis J. Freeh, the former federal judge and director of the F.B.I., was that Mr. Paterno knew as early as 1998 that there were concerns about Mr. Sanduskys inappropriate behavior with children. It spawned an internal review, which Mr. Freeh said Mr. Paterno followed closely. It was an investigation that Mr. Paterno, through his family after Mr. Sanduskys arrest, previously maintained he knew nothing about.
I also remember an interview with a hairdresser in State College who said that Sandusky's proclivities were well known in town.
Really...just go away...you are not helping Penn State, JoePa or anyone else with this crapola. You sound like the quibblers back in the '90s excusing Clinton.
So you’re quoting the NYTimes? A first on this forum.
You’re quoting freeh’s “summary”, which is (by his admission) based on “reasonable conclusions”.
The facts are that the “summary” is in no way backed up by the evidence in the report. This is really undeniable, once you read the actual report.
You believe the NYTimes and louis freeh all you want. They both are proven liars. Joe Paterno is not.
So everyone at the Creamery was in on this as well, huh? Boy...they sure know how to keep a secret all these years.
Come to think of it, Ben and Jerry got their start with a correspondence course from the PSU Creamery. Maybe they’re in on it as well.
>> they sure know how to keep a secret all these years.
No, that is the point. This wasn’t a secret. They had this different looking ice cream offering named after Sandusky, as it was well known that he was a weirdo. More like an inside joke. Otherwise the ice cream place wouldn’t of had this on their menu.
WTF are you talking about?
From Pennlive.com:
“The Penn State Creamery has removed the “Sandusky Blitz” ice cream flavor, named after former PSU assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, from its shelves and online menu, the Daily Collegian first reported yesterday.
Prior to the flavor’s removal from the creamery website, The Big Lead got a screen grab of the ingredients. Sandusky Blitz was described as a “banana-flavored ice cream with chocolate-covered peanuts and caramel swirl.”
Because they had a flavor of ice cream named after an ex-assistant coach, they’re all just winking and nodding about pedophila?
Are you people for real? Think about what you’re implying here. Seriously. For God’s Sake!
How’s that flame suit fitting??!!!
You are probably a really nice person but soooooooooooo incredibly naive.
They’re out to get us, even with ice cream.
If you think I’m naive, then you’re an idiot. Sorry. And I DON’T feel sorry for you.
Anyone that believes what you just posted is dumber than a bag of hammers.
Two scoops (looking like a buttocks) with a cone pressed into it.
I don’t think for a second that the ice cream store thought this was an inside joke. But you can be damned sure that customers saw it.
You’re falling for a joke. Flavors at the Creamery are just that - flavors. In fact, the only person ever to get the opportunity to get two different flavors on one cone is our disgraced ex-president clinton. THIS, I was not happy about. That’s how strict they are about they serve their ice cream.
You are reacting to a picture. The Creamery doesn’t serve ice cream any way but in a bowl or on a cone.
In other words, you are what I said. Why do you people believe everything you read when it comes to Penn State and Joe Paterno?
On another forum, it would make perfect sense. On this one, it makes no sense.
Just so I’m clear. That picture has absolutely NOTHING to do with Penn State or the Berkey Creamery.
They serve ice cream in styrofoam bowls and on cones. Period.
THAT picture was a scam that was sent around last winter and passed off as fact.
You are Hopeless. True believers are like that, though. I’m sure you’ll tell Jerry when you visit him in prison that he was railroaded.
