This is nonsense. Even Fox is getting caught up in the incredible amount of misinformation out there. Since aspartame contains phenylalanine, anyone suffering from PKU has to avoid it. This can be serious, especially for children with PKU, so there is absolutely no way that the FDA is going to allow that this ingredient be used without a clear indication on the label.

You should probably find something else to freak out about.
