They have a WWII sub
(USS PAMPANITO SS-383) docked in San Francisco. I went there with two other submarine veterans off of my sub. Because we were submarine vets the tour guide took us into parts of the ship which were normally off limits.

It was a beautiful city back then. That was before the invasion of the “Crazy’s” in the 60’s. Gone down hill and nuttier every since then.
