Researchers from Michigan have scoured websites, search engine results and social networks dating back as far as 1996 in search of people who discussed select events before they happened.

They even asked time travellers from the future to tweet using a specific hashtag.

Yet despite comprehensive analysis of thousands of records, they were unable to find any evidence time travellers existed.

If there’s a concrete, established future to which one can travel and from which one can return, then the return was predestined by the fact of it’s very existence in the past of that concrete, established future, thereby proving a much-maligned doctrine in some quarters, of certain Protestant denominations such as Presbyterians.

So, be careful what you wish for, if that’s just not to your liking. It will upset doctrines of other beliefs, Christian and not.

Time is a very strange thing, I think it truly is elastic in a way. I like time travel stories, but I really think if people could do this, we’d know about it by now.

Right, because anyone who went through all the trouble of TRAVELING THROUGH TIME does so for the express purpose of creating a Twitter account so he can start tweeting.

What about John Titor?

Well, he doesn't count because it's pretty obvious that he was from an alternate reality.

I believe the spaceship that Crashed at Roswell, NM was a time machine from a future Japan. It was a one way trip to warn the people of 1947 about some future event—maybe the end of the world as we know it. Its been held under wraps because it would destroy society to know we were doomed—I think the Government is doing what they can to stop the chain of events that leads up to the end—maybe they have been successful? I hope so—The grey figures maybe what people look like in a blasted and radiated world? Or maybe they were deformed in the passage though time? They didn’t live long—but they gave their message and perhaps saved mankind.

Confirming Chief Sitting Bull’s finding, who between 1850 and 1858 scoured the sky for smoke signals used by time travelers but found none.

God stuck us on a single line of time. Good thing too. Just think how much we’d screw things up if we had access to extra dimensions of time and space. This timeline is simply our little playpen where our destructive natures can do little harm in the grand scheme of things.
