As time goes by and chicken after chicken comes home to roost it appears Bush may in fact have been as dull-witted as the DUmmies always said he was.

Wilson personally profited from yellowcake trade to Islamic extremist countries like Pakistan.

He was covering for his own previous sales of yellowcake that might have been re traded to Iraq. See Here

It would be embarrassing to the point of treason if any of his yellowcake showed up in Iraq especially through Libya.

Two names come to mind: Richard Armitage, and Colin Bowel.

There was talk at the time that the reason was that once you are pardoned, it is case closed, and Libby wanted the opportunity to continue the pursuit of an appeal or civil case to clear his name.

This book should give him a good place to start on that venture! A lot of the 'Discovery' has already been done!

He calls Plame a pawn. No such thing. She and her husband started the mess by creating the falsehood that Bush lied in the SOTU.

Later it became about getting Cheney even tho he had absolutely nothing to do with it. Armitage was the initial leaker but was never charged because it was never a crime. What a complete farce.

Quote “It would be embarrassing to the point of treason if any of his yellowcake showed up in Iraq especially through Libya.”

That is the thing it didn’t have to go back to Iraq.
Saddam moved his nuke program to Libya, along with
billions of dollars and moved his scientists there also.

Libya was doing it for him, and the yellowcake just only
had to be trucked secretly from Niger next door. Joe
Wilson helped arrange this on his Niger visits, then aided
in a coverup and screwing of the Bush people with a fake
CIA outing scandle.

When Saddam was caught, Libya chickened out, gave up
nuke program to UN and US, and all the stuff hauled
back here, and Bush/Rove/Cheny was so relieved they didn’t
see the pressing need to correct the railroading of
Libby and the scandal which hurt the GOP real bad.
One of major factors we have the bunch
in office we got now...Ed

Scooter should be pardoned, and Plame, her husband, and Patrick Fitzgerald should be executed for their treasons.
