“What was their experimental setup and did they report the results?”
I was commenting on your statement about attitudes. I wasn’t involved in the actual setups. There were no results to report. They could not duplicate.
“Rossis secretiveness about his catalyst is infuriating but common to inventors. “
Sort of like his secretiveness involved in his other scams?
The lack of publication is unfortunate as even negative results should be reported. Some experimenters who did publish negative results were faulted for not duplicating the Pons and Fleischman apparatus. Might your colleagues have been put off by the risk of similar criticism?
If Rossi is a scammer, then where are the victims claiming to have been defrauded in regard to the E-Cat?
” Some experimenters who did publish negative results were faulted for not duplicating the Pons and Fleischman apparatus.”
Which ones?
“If Rossi is a scammer, then where are the victims claiming to have been defrauded in regard to the E-Cat?”
Apparently no one is really investing with a guy that spent five years in prison for fraud.
If the patent application fails that or any other requirement, then I am sure that the USPTO is capable of rejecting it. Yet the application itself demonstrates continuing research in the field.
“Yet the application itself demonstrates continuing research in the field.”
Not really.
Your link does NOT specify any “independent, third party testing funded by Cherokee Investment Partners”.
Oh come on, exert some effort. Go to the Wikipedia entry on Cold Fusion and look at the paragraph on “Loading ratio.”

Not responsive to my post.
With the facts on offer but declined, I am reminded of the wisdom of the adage about not trying to force an unwilling horse to drink water that is before it.
“That report apparently helped spur the North Carolina group to invest. “
As a Test Engineer I had to laugh at that report. Photos show a ridiculous setup. Totally unprofessional.
“That line of attack neglects the recent investment by the North Carolina group.”
Again ... WHAT investment?
What, specifically, was wrong with the setup?
Uh ... No mention of any investments for independent testing .....
You act just like Kevmo.
Rossi has referred to such testing as ongoing and that it will result in published results.
