I think the 11 million is for a closer look.

It’s a positive for sure.

However to me, its not real until it is.

If its real it will eventually take the world by storm.

I do know that other scientists have reported an effect, so something is going on that warrants further research.

Rossi and BlackLight are claiming much more, that they are near production of a world changing technology.

Big claims require big proofs.

I believe bending space and overcoming gravity are natural progressions. If we don’t send our species back to the stone age, we should overcome these two objectives in the not too distant future.

The knowledge of man is so important to me, that I wish we would do several things right away.

1. We need to create a repository with man’s knowledge and the people who know how to use it, separate from conventional society.
2. We need to get off planet, so that our knowledge would be much harder to extinguish by one event.
3. Failing either of these, bodes poorly on man’s knowledge not being lost and these discoveries having to be rediscovered all over again. I believe some amazing knowledge from the past has been extinguished over time. It’s important that not continue to happen in cycles.

“Perhaps the rest of us who were patient and urged folks to wait and see, had the right idea all along.”

Suckers. Any idiot knows this is a total scam. There isn’t any scientific evidence this thing works, yet, we’ve been promised by Kevmo and others how this was real and working but every single promise of delivery and show-n-tell ha been broken.

Okay, we’ll that’s your take on it. Meanwhile millions are being spent to purchase the technology. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I would think the people spending that sort of money must have one of the two following strategies.

1. They think the technology has been proven, and they want to tap the process.

2. They think the technology has been proven, and they want to bury it.

If you can think of a third, I’d like to hear it.

We are not going to see e-cat powering vehicles for a long time.
***What gives you that idea? Toyota & Mitsubishi are still involved in LENR research. What constitutes “a long time”?

at best, LENR and ecats are only at the beginning of what will be a protracted period of development before practical devices and applications reach the market.
***Probably true. But replacing coal burning plants is going to be a fast mover along with some other low lying fruit.

The only thing that will forward his claim is to allow independent verification by reputable
***Rossi had 7 independent scientists validate the ECat energy claims. Not good enough for you, but you don’t have $20M in your pocket, do you?

labs(plural, from different countries). You know that and yet you keep dodging the issue.
***I do not dodge that issue. You seem to think Rossi is a scientist. He’s an engineer with black boxes to sell. What good does it do for him to give away his secret sauce? Would you? NO Freeping Way. Quit dodging THAT issue.

There isn’t any scientific evidence this thing works,
***7 independent scientists validated ROssi’s claims. The F-P Anomalous heat effect has been replicated more than 14000 times.

every single promise of delivery and show-n-tell ha been broken.
***I’ve worked for $multibillion public corporations that do that all the time. Are they all a scam?

It would seem the iBankers would be the 2nd round of funding, not the first.

That just makes their press release poorly worded, as far as I can tell.

I’ve seen billions spent on useless “technologies”. $11 million...peanuts. I love stupid people because they write such checks.

“7 independent scientists validated ROssi’s claims.”

You’ve made many such claims...all have failed to materialize. How about that claim you made that Rossi would allow independent verification: Hasn’t happened yet. I believe it was October 2010 he was supposed to show us all. Never happened. “Thousands have been sold”...*snicker*, we all knew that one was a whopper.

“We’ll see...”, was said 4 years ago. Still haven’t seen a thing.

Except folks have put up tens of millions of dollars, and I’d say that’s probably more than you’ve put up.

Still haven’t seen a thing? Really?

“that’s probably more than you’ve put up.”

I’m not that stupid. (That one was an easy base hit.)

Seeing money is not the same as seeing a LENR reaction working. We’ve seen plenty of smack talk from Kevmo and Rossi, but nothing to date of anything actually working.

There are all kinds of scams in this world where someone lost tons of dough. Hell, last year alone 30,000 people fell for “Rachel from card services”, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a scam.

I think those were fair comments. All either of us can say, is we’ll have to wait and see how this shakes out. I will have to admit to thinking that anyone who pays out tens of millions of dollars has done at least some due diligence. Simply saying this has never been done before, the laws of physics won’t allow it, and so it can’t possibly work is not a sound enough reason for me to believe it is not possible.

Sometimes accepted conventional scientific reasoning doesn’t win.

I like the unpredictability and wide range of what LENR devices may eventually be able to do. Major technological advances set off decades of innovation that generate new wealth, opportunity, and progress across the globe — and especially so for free societies.

"He didn’t sell it to himself since he doesn’t own the company but as chief scientist he still has control over testing and implementation and if you’re familiar with his record that means there’s no possibility this company will get to see what the ECat will do."

He has repeatedly said specifically that he is NOT involved with validation testing. I'm sure he still does a lot of testing, but that testing is focused on seeing how are the tech can be "pushed".

If I were in such a position, I would be looking for new reactions substrates....specifically tungsten...as there is some indication of tungsten behaving in a similar manner to nickel and palladium. But tungsten's melting point is MUCH higher....hence the maximum op temp of a tungsten based system should also be much higher.
