What’s your favorite Woody Allen movie? Before you answer, you should know: when I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house.

There are several instances of people in the entertainment industry abusing young children. They are almost always covered up by the Media.

Now IF Woody had used the "N" word all those folks in the media would find their lost outrage. Liberals in the press would go judgemental - and be damn proud of it.

But the simple act of destroying a child's life? The press can't be outraged over such a small transgression. Besides it's less than a single sparrow falling...

I agree with you that there have been cases of false accusations of child molestation, particularly in cases of bitter breakups. But I don't think this is one of them.

There were several witnesses to inappropriate behavior by Woody Allen towards Dylan. There are also witnesses to Dylan being uncomfortable around Allen. Ronan Farrow was in his teens at the time. He saw Allen's bad behavior and strongly believes over 20 years later that Allen molested his adopted sister.

But most telling is Dylan's statement. She is now 29 years old. This happened over 20 years ago. But she is still so hurt by what Woody Allen did that she feels the need to speak out about it. You can't say that at 29 Dylan is doing it because Mia Farrow told her to.

Ronan is 26 years old, 3 years younger than Dylan. So he was a young child when this happened, not in his teens.

There was a 14 year old adopted brother present at that time. His name is Moses Farrow. He is now in his late 30’s, estranged from Mia Farrow and claims that this incident did not happen and that Mia Farrow brainwashed her children.

As much as many around here love to hate a liberal like Woody Allen, the evidence presented by Dylan is far, far from conclusive. It seems quite possible, based on my reading of these additional thoughtful, sober-minded articles, that Dylan's memory of this incident could indeed be false, and that her mother Mia Farrow may have manipulated her.

He did live with her and the children considered him a father figure... Not sure what planet you live on but those of us who have been around are pretty much aware of this.

That’s Ronan, not Dylan, and not Rowan. And he is amazingly handsome. I don’t think anyone knows for sure that Sinatra was his father, although I have to say he looks more like Sinatra than any of Frank’s other children, but as you can see, Mia and Frank look rather alike. It’s a mercy of God that he doesn’t look like Woody, whether or not Woody is his father.

Too bad that he’s a completely nuts lefty.

I'm certainly not here to defend Woody Allen, and neither am I here to convict him.

The source of the article is irrelevant.

The content is what is relevant.

Silly me, I thought it might be useful to actually review some comprehensive information, as opposed to just responding in knee-jerk fashion.

If you took the time to actually review the content of the lengthy and well-documented article, you would have more access to the actual evidence and sequence of events.

So please allow me to apologize for attempting to cut through the hysteria and personal agendas, and deigning to evaluate the case from a more informed perspective...

Over at the Slate, they’re all defending Woody. If it were Fr. Woody Allen or Rev. Woody Allen, the lefties would be singing a different tune.

The Farrow clan are wack jobs who have been trying to bring Woody Allen down for decades. There is not a shred of proof for these accusations.

Many of these details have been known for years. Certainly Woody inappropriately being in bed with this child, putting his fingers in her mouth, taking her into the attic, were well-known to both the public and the judge who gave Mia Farrow the children. There have been at least two books detailing these allegations. I believe even Maureen Sullivan spoke out about Woody’s bad behavior.

And who can forget one of Mia’s kids screaming “Woody No Goody!” every time he came into the house. Always admired that kid.

Woody has since adopted little girls who are probably teenagers or young adults by now. He better fill their bank accounts before they need to write a book.
