In a previous thread, Freepers could not agree on what Apple told investors. I think Mr. Virgin gets it.

As for why deniers should start believing, Branson keeps his argument simple: "If 97 percent of climate scientists agreeing that climate-warming trends over the past century are due to human activities isnt compelling data, I dont know what is."Before Copernicus, 97 percent of "learned scholars" believed that the Earth revolved around the Sun. I guess that was compelling then too.

Simple enough. These spoiled billionaires are working against America and Americans, while profiting immensely from them.
Therefore, when conservatives control congress and the White House, these billionaires need to be put in their place.
Most of them are not billionaires because they have billions of dollars, but because they have the equivalent in stock. If their stock drops, they stop being billionaires.
And they stop being pestiferous to America and Americans.
Right now, their stock is sky high in many cases solely because it is propped up by the US government. Take away those props, and overnight, these billionaires are selling pencils on street corners.
Time for the joy ride of these scoundrels to end.

Oops! Vice-verse, of course:
Before Copernicus, 97 percent of "learned scholars" believed that the Sun revolved around the Earth. I guess that was compelling then too.
See how easy it is to screw this up?

Right. A company that builds most of its products in China professing it cares more about the environment than making a profit.

So when Apple decided that it didn’t want to comply with EPA rules and moved their manufacturing to China, they were only concerned with what? Or when they thumbed their noses at minimum wage laws and hired Chinese workers at a fraction of the cost of an American worker they were just doing what? And how ‘bout when they shielded their billions in foreign banks to avoid taxes in the USA? All this at the same time that they were sending massive amounts of money to politicians who devised the very rules that they have so assiduously avoided. We have several vulgarities for people like that.

What percent of Soviets believed in Communism? Or at least those who went on record?
There has been a blacklist of thought. Challenges from within the scientific community where silenced. This was in the leaked memos.
