They are concerned for the frozen chickens.
What about the yellow flowers they pulled up by the roots to use in their parade? Maybe those flowers have feelings — being uprooted, being removed from the beds with their relatives and frieds, the roses.
This has made me hungry. I have some fried chicken tenders in the frig. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
