Good thing climatologists are completely honest.

I am sure he can get a position in the US at almost any University wholly lacking in ethics and responsibility.
That list BTW, is a long one.

"Anthropology is going to have to completely revise its picture of modern man between 40,000 and 10,000 years ago," said Thomas Terberger, the archaeologist who discovered the hoax. "Prof Protsch's work appeared to prove that anatomically modern humans and Neanderthals had co-existed, and perhaps even had children together. This now appears to be rubbish." The scandal only came to light when Prof Protsch was caught trying to sell his department's entire chimpanzee skull collection to the United States. He thought he could make a monkey out of us!

The article is dated 2005.
There has been a lot of real science since then, indicating overlap of humans and Neanderthals, and probable interbreeding.

The full story is an incredible read, at least incredible to anyone who’s never been to college and had contact with the professorial elite and publish or perish academic priesthood. Like any profession, there’s a percentage made up of frauds. And it’s frequently the ones who are flamboyant with the biggest profiles in their field that turn out to be serial liars and cheats. It can take decades, as in this case, for them to be found out.

He got his Ph.D. in the US?
Wow-I’m not surprised.
Those guys are treated like gods on earth on campus.
It's like they are totally infallible, when in fact, lots can't even fill out simple forms or follow the most rudimentary instructions.

Modern humans and Neanderthals were parallel branches of the same tree, not ancestor and descendant.

Herr Doktor Professor PReiner Protsch von Zieten faked a little data. BFD. This story is 10 years old and since then his hypothesis has proven at least semi- viable, accurate even, even if his facts were fake.
