The Iron Dog Snow Mobile race started yesterday from Big Lake at 10:00 AK time.
This year's race is being called the “water & dirt” race because snow is lacking on some major portions of trail and the race route had to be changed to avoid open water on the Yukon.

Todd Palin and partner Tyler Huntington (Team 11) are in this year's race and have made it to the McGrath Airport checkpoint as of Sunday night (Feb. 23) – last year, they were early out of the race due to a mechanical problem that they couldn't get fixed on the trail. Thank you for the thread, dear Onyx. I am just not up to it. We have an unbelievably slow internet, my laptop just died and I have had one of the worst migraines in years, going on four complete days now. The timing could not be worse. Well, yes, it could, but it isn’t really convenient now, either.

Stop eating anything sweet...and drink lots of strong coffee...that’s the only thing that brought me out of a 3-day event. Couldn’t believe it worked...and I’ve done this ever since whenever one comes on....I’m over it before the day ends.

Don’t eat sweets anyway. I hate coffee, but I’ve been drinking more diet coke for the caffeine. It’s not working. I’ve taken valium with methampyrone, hasn’t worked. Now treating with methampyrone and B1 and some other migraine specialty drug. Ruled out diseases like malaria and dengue.
I think it’s tapering off. Not ready to handle machinery, i.e. Cars, yet.

I respect Todd Palin damn near as much as I do Sarah. he is the only spouse of a politician that I know of that has a real life. A real life, I admire.
My question is;
Would he leave Alaska for 4 or 8 years in Washington, should Sarah becomes President?
As somebody who has suffered from Migraines for many years, I have found only one home remedy that seems to work.
Strong Black Coffee, and heat packs.
The drug known as Sumatripton Succonate is very effective, but has been considered “dangerous” by some doctors.
And Prayer. Lots of prayer.
I just said one for you!
