Until the Mule showed up. It would be interesting to know if someone has tried to actually apply it.
If I recall correctly the formulas required patterns of the behavior of trillions of people spread over half a galaxy. So we’ve got a good ways to go. And even then they couldn’t account for a mutation like the Mule appearing. Superb science fiction series, though.
