Several studies of identical twins separated as babies show that the genetic component of male homosexuality is the same or less than the genetic component of drug addictive behavior.
The genetic component of female homosexuality is nil.
For a long time I have insisted that male homosexuality is an addiction and should be handled as such.
In addition to providing me an interpretation consistent with best unbiased data, this working hypothesis has the additional benefit of making my leftist friends apoplectic.

if you care to read the following site, it talks about other examples of observed rapid species change/adaption which more thoroughly show that species did change when the environment demanded it- these cases were witnessed and recorded apparently- I don’t know this site, so I can’t vouch for their religious stance as I’ve not read where they stand, but this article seems to indicate they do not believe in macroevolution but have shown microevolution/adaption with the examples they gave-

There’s more- where they transplanted other species and observed the rapid changes- but again, guppies remained guppies, lizards remained lizards- and no new non species specific information was ever created- and so this was not examples of macroevolution - just microevolution/adaption

Why does it matter if they were “born that way”?
Since we know it can't be genetic, they are hanging their hats on "epigenetics". An overly simplistic description, hormonal influences on DNA while in the womb.
Identical twins are still a problem for that hypothesis though.

are far more likely to try to lie/force the “born that way” argument,
because they are trying to deny the moral component of homosexuality while advancing an underlying agenda.
It removes the morality factor for their behavior.

Sadly I just read a big 2 page newspaper article this morning telling us how scientists have calculated that 3 of every 4 really hot days are ‘due to man’ and that by mid century, 89% of hot days and rain storms will be ‘due to man’
several thousand years ago, the ppm’s (parts per million) of CO2 in atmosphere was at almost the exact same amount as today- no one blamed it on man back then- and now the ppm’s are right back up to where they once were, but now it’s all man’s fault apparently-
However, even at the current ppm, it’s still NOWHERE NEAR enough to be trapping ANY heat in any significant amount, and what little it does trap gets scattered in all directions- most of it going outwards, NOT back to earth
The LIARS who falsely call themselves scientists are using calculations ASSUMING that the rise in temperatures has to be due to man, and using calculations based on this LIE- the earth is hotter than it was 100 years ago-
To show how ridiculous it is to blame man for hotter days, simply because they are happening more frequently, we can just as easily make the claim that because it is hotter now than it was 100 years ago, and because man now grows carrots, which he didn’t do previously 100+ years ago, man planting carrots must be causing global climate change since that is the only thing that has change- therefore, IF man continues planting carrots at an increased rate for the next 40 years, the earth will experience 89% more rainy days than it does now, according to our computer models
The only difference is that we know CO2 does absorb heat- and can back radiate that heat back to earth- at a SMALL percentage.
We know this- yet not one damn scientists has shown the quantity of heat captured in the atmosphere SOLELY by MAN’S CO2 (the 0.00137% that man is responsible for), Nor have they shown the quantity of heat that is captured by these CO2 molecules that gets back radiated to earth- and why don’t they show us this? Because their LIE would be immediately exposed for the massive fraud that it is- that’s why!
IF they were to show the actual heat that gets back radiated, there would be so little of it that they would be laughed right out of the room for declaring that it is the cause of global warming- it would be akin to heating up a baseball sized rock or so, and dropping it into the ocean, and claiming that that rock is responsible for the rising sea temperatures- (Or rather heating up a rock that is 0.00137% of the ocean’s volume- whatever size that would be)
There is no way a rock heated that size, can be causing the sea temps to rise- not even slightly-
I don’t really know any other analogy to demonstrate how ridiculous the idea that man’s 0.00137% CO2 production is- it is simply asinine to believe that that amount of our atmosphere is causing global climate change ESPECIALLY WHEN the other devastating factors I listed in my previous post are taken into consideration- not that they even need to be considered- because the sheer fact that man doesn’t produce anywhere near enough CO2 to do ANYTHING cliamte4 wise alone shows how ridiculous it is to blame man
Yet that is precisely what some college research ‘scientists’ did- and the world thinks they are geniuses? The world has gone insane- Who In their right mind thinks it’s a good idea to force man back into the tone ages and extreme poverty for the sake of something we are NOT responsible for? Only idiots, uneducated, science illiterate, ignorant people and EVIL LIARS think this- which category does the pope fit into?
Yeah. With epigenetics you can open all sorts of Pandora’s boxes.
But it’s just Lysenkoism. Since the real explanations are too humiliating or too subtle to understand, they go for the nonsense explanation that also brings the political benefits with it - “But yer honor, I wuz born that way!”
When they can explain just exactly what hormonal influences bring about such a radical change across a host of genes, and how that translates into a protein complex that alters their brain to invert their sexuality, then we can talk.
Don’t think I have to worry much about having such a discussion!
