A Colorado woman was sentenced Friday to 38 years in prison for beating a man to death with a baseball bat because she wrongly suspected him of molesting a child, The Denver Post reported.
Forsythia Owen, 32, of Englewood, was convicted of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and tampering with evidence in the September 2013 death of Denzel Rainey, 42.
Owen told authorities she repeatedly struck Rainey with a Louisville Slugger bat as he was sleeping in an alley because her 4-year-old daughter claimed he had touched and sexually abused her.
Rainey was found with a skull fracture, cuts to his head, a broken left arm, six broken ribs, a laceration to the liver and a left testicle hemorrhage, CBS Denver reported. He died hours later at a hospital.

The actors of the past were much better than today, and much more interesting.
But he was carrying a penis with intent. ;-)
They were better because most of them started on stages or vaudeville. You can’t do retakes there.
Because he was never found guilty in a court of law and, now that he’s been murdered, cannot assist in his legal defense.
How do they know he didn’t do it?
Because she admitted she was in the wrong at her sentencing.

There was a movie where a woman became suspicious that her husband was going to murder her and bury her in the basement, because he spent long hours digging in the basement.
Then one night he came to the top of the steps to the basement, and called her to come and see what he had been doing. The woman was hiding around the corner with a shovel in her hands, held above her head.
He turned the corner to look for her, and she bashed him on the head with the edge of the shovel, killing him instantly.
She then goes down to the basement expecting to find a grave ready to put him in, but instead found the new furnace he had been installing.

You can see their skill, and something that is interesting about the old black and whites, is how much talent is seen in the minor characters, back then, they were all actual actors.
I notice in many of the older movies and TV shows, that they don’t do retakes for every minor glitch, for instance a slight boot catch on the step, or the hat lead man tossing his hat to a chair, and it missing, or a slight loss of momentum when getting on to his horse.
