Not many.
He’s a genuinely nice guy.
Think Wilt Chamberlan had a lot of women? Ric could have made his own claims, but is too much a gentleman. Drop dead beautiful women too.

One thing about Ric that a lot of people forget is that Ric made himself a brand name a long time before Dale Earnhardt did. I think it’s part of what inspired Dale to market himself the way he did. They knew each other, couldn’t help it because of proximity, but they seemed to be chummy.
I knew the Earnhardts better than Ric. I spent way more time at the speedway, than at wrestling matches. Mainly saw Ric around town. In those days Charlotte wasn’t a big city. Only about 120,000 pop. It’s now approaching 4 million, from what I understand.

It was Maryville/Alcoa and the Armory on Hall Rd. They had all kinds of things going on there.

Yeah I know where that is. I went to the Armory out on Sutherland Ave for a year. No wrestling matches though LOL.

I watched WaHoo McDaniel beat the CARP out of Bobby “The Brain” leaving a puddle of red fluid on the mat in Denver in the ‘80’s.

“And tha crowd went WILD!”

Because of Dusty Rhodes I never missed Florida Wrestling every Saturday Morning....Channel 6 at noon.......300 pounds of solid steel and sex appeal

Yep, during the 70's and early 80's, and I also remember the great Gordon Solie, one of the most entertaining wrestling commentators ever...
