Trumpus Interruptus -- Will Trump Pullout of Presidential Run, Again?
07-07-2015 | STE=Q

Posted on 07/07/2015 12:39:28 AM PDT by STE=Q

Is "The Donald" in for the long hall, or is he going to "Pull Out" at the last minute -- like he has done so many times before?

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/may/16/donald-trump-us-presidential-race

I don't think he has demonstrated that he is in for the long haul.

Therefore I have taken the liberty to give him the handle of Trumpus Interruptus!

I confess that I was excited (as was his collective base) when he announced in 2012 that he was considering a run for the republican nomination for President of the United States.

I was thus willing to overlook the fact that he was a bona fide Megalomaniac.

That he was a "tinsel town" Hollywood celebrity.

That he sported the worst "comb-over" in the history of hair!

Did I mention that he's a megalomaniac?

Oh yeah, the Trumpet's a real genius too.

I've been harping on the dangers of ILLEGAL immigration for at least 16 years -- and many of you have for twice that long -- and suddenly Trump decides it's time to make the clarion call!

Donald is just Trumpeting (pun not intended) what people want to hear!

Sorry, but I've seen this movie before.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

I wont be supporting Trumpus Interruptus any time soon.

Trump’s tough talk on Mexico has really brought the weirdoes out that jump up and down spouting their ‘conservativeness’

It’s been two weeks since he filed and no financial disclosure. Trumpolaters said it would happen “right away.”
Still waiting. But he is milking it for all it’s worth.

Loud, but not tough. TRUMP: Undocumented Workers Can Stay ... BUT ONLY IF THEY WORK HARD He's basically Jeb with a megaphone and MSNBC talking points.

Trump is demolishing whatever was left of the Reagan revolution.

So you think we have the logistical apparatus to deport 30 million illegals immediately?

The only way to stop it, is to change our laws and system so we aren't pulling people here. The markets work how they work. Our own policies make this happen.

It won't be easy, but it will be far easier & more effective than the other proposals.

Myself, would put up an actual border fence. On the US side, make regulations so onerous as to initiate self-deportation.

That would involve hiring probably a hundred thousand officers skilled in the art of combing through suspect business records to weed out the illegals and fine or jail the business owners.

Myself, would put up an actual border fence.

First of all, it wouldn't work. Conservative economics... we make it desirable for them to be here. They will come. No matter how they get here.

Second, if there was any political will to do this, it would have been done.

Now that’s pure bull-squeeze labeling it as “Conservative Economics”.

I really hope that is a massive typo.

Go back and read Free Republic... it’s been talked about here for years. We have laws and a system that attract illegal immigrants and make it a certainty that we will be flooded with illegals. It’s basic economics. The market at work.

Heck - enforce the laws we do have. Go after the employers of the illegals and the “land of opportunity” will go away. Although the illegals are also getting all sorts of welfare - not sure how that works. I suppose that is the “anchor baby” thing. I bet a lot of them are also getting benefits illegally too though (fake ID’s, etc.)

Towards the end of Bush’s presidency I recall lots of raids on companies and housing projects looking for illegals and deporting them. When that started happening, a lot of them left on their own as they were afraid of getting caught.

http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/raids-target-immigrants-ordered-to-leave-us/

excerpt (from 1997)
“They happen almost daily, part of an aggressive nationwide effort to find and deport more than 600,000 immigrants for whom a judge has issued a final order of removal.”

*****************

Granted - 600,000 isn’t much when looking at 30 million, but it’s a start. Say that by looking for 600,000 gets another 600,000 to 1.2 million to leave (family, friends, etc) - that is some progress.

I still think the primary thing is to go after the employers.

Of course he will. Trump is in it for the ego boost, to increase his name recognition, and to score points against easy targets. He has deep pockets, but he has no intention of spending excessively, or letting the Feds sniff around his books to deeply.

All that being said, I am enjoying the way he’s freaking everyone out on the establishment, both left and right, and will be sorry when he pulls the plug on things. He’s a one man circus, but the big top is no fortress and he’ll fold it and lam out of town before things get too serious.

In the meantime, let’s all link arms and sing the Trump campaign song!

“WE SHALL OVER-COMB!!!”

Oh geeze...you whine about this to JR because why? Don’t you think he finds that kind of tiresome? In fact enough caution about it on the help page?

Yes. He will. And then throw all his “support” over to Jeb. It’s an old game.
