This was a crime. I don’t care who it belonged to.I'm not sure it was a crime. HitchBOT didn't belong to anyone. It was a social experiment, according to its builders, who neither want its destruction investigated or anyone charged.
And, for the record, I'm not cheering hitchBOT's destruction. I thought the concept was kinda cool. I'm also not surprised about its fate. So I guess this social experiment taught the experimenters something after all.

That one's pretty close to the same one youngest son had. The display was in the head like the one pictured but "Dinky" had a square head.
I'd bet youngest son would remember what that toy was named. Lord knows I traumatized him for life cutting its head off! ROFL!!!
