Given his campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” it seems only fitting that Donald Trump would pose with a bald eagle named Uncle Sam for a magazine photo shoot TIME magazine had the 27-year-old eagle flown from Texas to the Manhattan office building where the real estate mogul and GOP presidential hopeful has his office overlooking Central Park. According to an article in The Daily Mail about the rather unusual photo session with the stately old bird (referring to the eagle, of course), the TIME photographer found the human subject much easier to work with.

I first thought maybe it was one of the photos with Will Farrell in the background, playing security guard.
It will be a beautiful large wall protected by genetically modified killer Bald Eagles.
How about some mecha-eagles!?

It’s a very interesting photo. One of the things I notice is how cluttered Trump’s work area is. Unlike most politicians, successful business men often have cluttered work areas as they want the things they work with on a regular basis in quick easy reach. Papers, in/out boxes, pens, pencil sharpeners, clips, etc. are all over his desk.
The second thing I notice is how many photos he has on the window ledge. He has a great view of New York and Central Park, and yet there appear to be over twenty personal pictures, in all sizes and ages, in different frames that he keeps beside him while he works.
He also looks like he has a very comfortable chair.
All in all, he looks like a successful man who works in that chair. He looks genuine in that position.
My late father used to say, “If a cluttered desk means a cluttered mind, what does an empty desk mean?”

No, no. It’s really great. (I hate videos, too) This is the either the calmest, most domesticated raptor I’ve ever seen or this bird LOVES Trump, too.

aside: This big guy was hit by a car & taken into rescue. He’s been doing public appearance kind of things since his recovery. (That’s all the comment in the article said.)
There used to be a raptor rescue called Last Chance Forever. I saw one of their demonstrations at the Renaissance Festival years ago.
Funny you mentioned that because I noted the same thing. He is obviously fully engaged in running his empire. No need to have a clean desk for a photo op.
How do you think Putin and Trump would converse?
I saw rescued eagles in Ketchikan, AK. They are yuge and awe-inspiring.

Alaska Fish and Game brought a wounded but recovering young Eagle to our school on Kodiak for the Kindergartners to name. They named the bird “Joe” after our pastor.
The eagle is eying Trumps hair thinking hmmm... that would make a cozy spot in the nest.
Now don’t get all bent out of shape people... it’s just a joke!
