HOWE MANY eagles have the global warming windmills killed?
How cool! An ex BF went to Lake Buchanan to see them in the 80s. I was sick & didn’t get to go :-( I’ve only seen them at the zoo.
This is Time magazine’s video. Too much of the photogs, imo, but more of DT & Uncle Sam than the Fox one..

lol He is thrilled. You can tell by that biiig smile on his face.
Bet he’d really like Rand Paul’s nest! :)
That was Great! Thanks!
Way to go Super D!
We have eagles that have nested on our farm. The have eaglets and we love watching them.
As rich as he is, he still has water towers as a view.
I saw the nancy-boy from the magazine, the photo shoot editor or whatever, and he said everyone was terrified of the big bird (the eagle not the Donald).
Said the eagle wasn't as gentle as might appear and everyone was waiting for all hell to break loose.
Trump's cool around the great raptor no doubt helped keep it calm.
lol You just know they were probably almost all hipster pajama boy types.
I read that- about it being skittish. It didn’t look nearly as much so as some raptors I’ve seen. (Loved it that he was sooo photogenic) At the demonstration I saw, people were urged to be very still & keep their younguns in hand. I would have thought with all that commotion, Uncle Sam would *not* have been at ease.
DT must have been kind of joking around. Now, HE looked a little skittish but the bird didn’t seem to be picking that up (& would have).
(Missed your post. So sorry, cj!) You are most welcome.
(geez missed this one, too :-/ ) How fantastic! I would get *nothing* done.
(I get pretty worthless when the new babies are learning to fly & following their moms around in the yard or when the transient ones make their appearance- & the baby squirrels, too)
...and boy are his wings tired! *ba-dum-bum*
“Awesome” may be the most over used word in the English language but that is the best word to describe these majestic birds. I have been scrambling to get my work and errands done because they usually take flight around 6 o’clock in the evening. When one dives, it just takes my breath away.
When I narrate tours in Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, my favorite thing is spotting eagles as we do our float trip down the Snake River.
That was breathtaking! Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow. You are sooo lucky. I don’t remember the details of their being at Lake Buchanan, but I really ought to try & get up there for that.
(I know what you mean about ‘’awesome’’- but it’s true.)
