I can go out into my back yard right now and most likely find 5 or six without looking hard. It’s one of the benefits of living in New Mexico.
Me thinks this woman would not last long on a battle field.
When they turned up in Evart Michigan there were fliers posted that wanted us to call police. I think it was more about tracking them and getting an idea of how many there were.
Grapes country of origin please.....looks like they left it out. Can you say Mexico??
Looks like its a male and female.
Oh I see the violin now. That sure is a brown recluse.
Can't believe I panicked so.
I have an outdoor kitchen setup with a grill mounted in the middle. There has been a mouse living in there for a while now. I let the little feller be.
I give the grill a few good whacks before I fire it up to let him run away before I fire it up.
“”Are they rare in Michigan?””
My first thought! A 911 call for a black widow spider? Come on! If they are that stupid, I’m surprised they knew enough to identify it as such. Have seen many and killed many.
Had one crawl out of a shotgun barrel yesterday in the garage.
Why? They’re small, but when grilled properly are very tasty.
I keep various work gloves in the garage. I always stomp on them or squeeze them in my hands to see if I hear any crunching before I put them on.
To tell you the truth, I done got attached to the little feller.
We have rats......huge fricken rats. Here they’re called tree rats. Dcon is my friend. When it rains dead rats fall out of my neighbors trees. lol
The Country of Origin Labeling Amendments Act of 2015 would repeal the requirement for meat products to be labeled with their country of origin. Currently meat products must include information on where the animal was bred, raised, and slaughtered. The Canadian government filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) to remove the labeling as a violation of trade agreements. The WTO approved the Canadian complaint on the grounds that the United States labeling policy discriminates against meat products from border countries. The bill passed the House with a vote of 300-131. Only 10 Republicans voted nay while 66 Democrats voted yea. The bill will move on to the Senate.
My a-hole Republican congresscritter is very proud that he is a cosponsor of this bill.
Now I am all for free trade, but I am more all for consumers being able to make informed choices in the products that they purchase. It's half of how the free market works.
If you bring shit to the market and try and sell it as ice cream, the buyers are going to get wise to it, eventually. Pulling Country of Origin labeling off of product just helps the shit look, taste, and have the "mouth feel" of ice cream. Still, it's shit.
I don't mean to bash Canadian cattlemen... but how much Chinese chicken is flooding the market... even though it is unfit to feed my kitties?

Black widow spiders are native to the United States .
I have them all over my back yard
