His is the only one with this sticker on it... :)

You know, when you are at a light and rev it up, it sounds a lot like “Imgay”, not “varoom”

Well that trans oil change certainly helps turn the shop into a nice profit center.

That would be in 2023 after the 8 year battery warranty is over?

Because the engine is not connected to the wheels, it does not rev like an old fashioned car.

Also most of the time, the engine is not running, and makes no noise.

When it does run it stays at one speed for optimum efficiency.

a nice profit center

That's my thought!

The good news is that many people have simple workarounds for the fluid change.

The reset of the OBD is the hard one.
Last time I looked there were only a few OBD readers that can do the job. But changes every day.

For a Prius there apps for a cell phone and a usb cord! You can change anything, and that makes it a bit scary !

Maybe the Prius V is better, but I had a Prius as a rental car on a business trip last year and it sucked. The fuel ecomomy got a lot worse above 60mph, but it really didn’t want to drive that fast and you had to stick your foot into it and listen to it complain. Overall it felt like a typical $14000 economy car except they start a bit over $23k.

The Prius-V gets a tad less(EPA) than the standard Pri.

My observation is that after 65 mph the mileage starts drop off. For a third generation Pri (2015)
The newest forth generation, just out, is a 10% improvement (55) MPG)

Here in Illinois we seldom move that fast.

Cool!

Surprised that they didn’t design in traction control. An electric car is perfect for that.
