Texas: Muslim teen blames his “BOMB HOAX” on “islamophobia,” Obama invites him to White House
pamelageller.com ^ | September 16, 2015 | Pamela Geller

A Muslim teen bought a strange ticking device to his high school that set off alarms and fear. The student was detained for having what resembled a bomb. Officers said the clock and wires inside his Vaultz pencil case looked like a hoax bomb to them. When questioned about the device was, the student, Ahmed Mohamed, wouldn’t answer. Now terror-tied Islamic groups like Hamas-CAIR, their media lapdogs and even President Obama are waging jihad against the school.

This whole thing smells like a set-up. With ISIS in America, and young moderate Muslims are fleeing to Syria to join the terror group, the Irving school’s response was rational and reasonable. I run news stories on a weekly basis of American Muslim teens arrested for trying to join ISIS. Just this week, a Philly Muslim teen was arrested for a plot to assassinate the Pope on his US visit.

I predict Obama is behaving stupidly by inviting this guy to the WH without all the facts. The kid baited the authorities who are bound to investigate. A side parry in Obama’s War on the Police.

You are absolutely right. Now you and I (thanks to you) will (hopefully) spread this information all around the internet.

This damn thing looks just like a timing circuit for a bomb. Why would cautious authorities think differently?

Well said. This massively dumb incident can be chalked up entirely to the stupid-assed public schoolteachers whom pulled the trigger. Then, the dumbasses here are doubling down on the stupidity and fanning the flames with anti-Muslim rhetoric, instead of seeing this for what it was:

A kid whom likes to tinker with electronics and brought one of his projects to school to show off.

The fact that none of the posters here ever did this as kids tells me a lot about the readership of this thread.

You know a lot about timing circuits for bombs? Have you seen lots of them? By, “seen,” I mean in real-life, not in some retarded Hollywood flicks.

Do you think that a bombmaker would put a fricking 110v plug to power his project?

Please engage your brain!

Godalmighty...can you take a look at the picture? IT HAS A WALL CORD. DO YOU THINK THAT A BOMBER WOULD BUILD SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE PLUGGED INTO THE WALL?

This thread is plumbing the depths of stupidity. It got to the bottom and then has continued to dig, at a furious pace...

Take a look at how Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne is refusing to back down to the liberals! Never apologize! Attack! Attack! Attack! The article refers to her as "the anti-Muslim Republican mayor of Irving, Texas". All the better, the Republic needs a lot more people who are unabashedly anti-muzzie. And, on top of that, Mayor Van Duyne is stunningly beautiful:

Crush islam! Let freedom ring! Go Beth go!

In my opinion, she has what it takes to restore Irving to the city it used to be some 30 years ago. Her words are unapologetic and unafraid:

We are proud to have one of the safest cities in the country and that is due in large part to the diligence and professionalism of our police department. We are also proud that Irving ISD is nationally recognized by the National School Board Association and the Center for Digital Education for the school districts use of innovative technologies, STEM curriculum, and other practices that help our students excel in an advanced learning environment.

I do not fault the school or the police for looking into what they saw as a potential threat. They have procedures to run when a possible threat or criminal act is discovered. They follow these procedures in the sole interest of protecting our children and school personnel.

Woo hoo!

I do not see any problem with arresting a moose limb that has a device which resembles a bomb. It would be negligent not to detain the little bastage.

His father is an islamist activist and a friend of the subversive outfit, CAIR. Frankly, the whole d#mn family ought to be detained behind bars, interrogated and then deported.

Most media don’t show the picture of this clock, but after seeing it I think the teacher did the right thing. Building a timer INSIDE a steel case. This raise suspicion.

This is no innocent mistake or islamophobic. The kid raised suspicion by his own irresponsible action

Thanks.

The semi-tard on this issue used a pinglist.

I returned that same ill-favor.

Acting the boy who cried wolf, plays right into CAIR's hands, regardless if the intent was fully planned, or not.

Another analogy would be like a screaming little Chihuahua, who doesn't just 'bark' at everything, but screams at it instead.

CAIR just laughs (and will try to get further mileage out of this). The rest of the Muslims say "see? we ARE being wrongfully held under suspicion".

I don’t think the teacher was silly. The kid shows up with what looks like a primitive bomb and probably strutted up to her desk with a smirk on his face. He’s probably given her trouble before.

The science teacher he first showed it to wasn't, and was smart enough to see --- that it was no threat --- but some people would mistake it as one (because let's face it --- humans can be kinda' stoo-pid)

How many real and actual bombs are made with digital clock readouts?

That's Hollywood, not real life.

As far as I could tell, the kid is on his own wavelength so to speak.

He doesn't express himself very well.

Who did at that age?

Then later, people take advantage of the situation...

Like Obama did, dancing like a puppet to CAIR's own self-justification wet dreams.

As a professional engineer, yes, I do know a lot about timing circuits that can be used for anything.

I also know a lot about 14 year olds; I was one once. My friend and I, at that age were manufacturing gunpowder, and all went well until my friend found a German book about catalysts. Then, he was able to make the real deal.

The kid was provocative, answered flippantly, was cleared and not arrested. The authorities did what they had to do. His father is a muzzie activist.

What is the big deal?

The president is acting stupidly by inviting the kid to the white house without having all the information.
