The Saudi Arabian military looks impressive on paper. Most of the high ranking positions are filled not by able good officers, but by nepotism. The military is more a bunch of palace guards than warriors. The force is hollow.
Iran, on the other hand, has been involved in war in one form or another continuously since the Ayatollah took over in the late ‘70’s. Unless SA uses nukes they got from Pakistan first and effectively, they will be reduced to blood and dust in short order.
As bad as both parties are, I’d prefer Saudi Arabia any day as the power in the region. They pay lip service to Islam, but Iranians are true believers of the convert or die mode.
