It’s common for any dog to rush to a door to greet a stranger.

99% of individuals deal with it without shooting the dog.

They would have shot your breed-of-choice for the same behavior.

Only a coward shoots someone else’s dog at THEIR home, just for running outside. Maybe it needed to take a crap.

The officer did not have himself under control. He pulls out his gun when he hears the dog *barking*, before the door is even opened.

Two people are at the door when he shoots.thankfully, they are not hit.

Had the first creature coming out of the house been a child, El Terminator would have opened fire, because he was already mentally prepped to kill,

Which is more dangerous-—a tail wagging dog greeting a stranger or a government employee who has already decided that he is entitled to kill?

A college student delivering pizza can handle that situation with far more professionalism.
