And now for a little badly needed sanity in our lives...
Some of you probably saw my previous American muscle car, customs, and classic, car threads. Included here are some models I didn't manage to get to on those threads. Namely, GTOs, Mustangs, 442s, Novas and Vettes, plus a few other misc. Sorry, only a few of the pics are labeled. A handful are illustrations or plastic scaled models. See if you can spot which.
There are over 100 posted photos here.
I'm on my way out the door now, so won't be around to reply. Hope you enjoy the cars and the memories.
Very nice
My friend had a sleeper 442 (bored out to about 480) with a hydraulic cam, street slicks, and just crushed everyone. It had perfect weight transfer. NO ONE ever beat him out of the gate.
For those interested, here are the other threads..

Thanks!
I would like one of each!
Sorry, not much time to reply now, but here are a couple of nice Cameros...
I was privileged to have grown up in that great muscle car era.
I wonder about the taillights on this:
Is it me or do they differ slightly from the typical Yankee Mustang taillights?

I would like to have a Cougar along the lines of what’s posted.
A few years ago, I bought a 67 Cougar from an uncle. It was at best tolerated by the SO. A money crunch came along and it had to be sacrificed.
I will find another one and I will keep it and have told the SO that more than once.
Please add me to your pinglist.
I consider myself lucky to have grown up around all of this steel. I even got to own a few examples myself - 64 Malibu, 66 Chevelle, 68 Nova. Money was always too tight for the “heavy metal” of a Shelby Mustang or a Hemi Cuda but I had a (ratted out) Torino GT and a 71 Charger.
I always wanted a 67 Mustang fastback but never came across the right deal. Right now I have my hands full with 2 37 Chevy trucks.
As politics and our degenerating culture get more and more oppressive I find myself seeking the sanctuary of my garage more and more.
Thanks again.
Great pics. Who made the muscle car that had the above body gas cap on side of the trunk?
Thanks for the car porn! ;-)
I would like to have the Cougar or the Olds 442 please.
Love those GTOs.

Stay safe? You mean someone might be out to get me for honoring old-school American creativity!
(I know what you mean) Stay safe too. :)
Gotta run now.
