MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) â A Minnesota man charged with recruiting terrorists is in custody in Africa.
A State Department spokesperson tells WCCO Muhammed Abdullah Hassan, known as Mujahid Miski online, turned himself in Somalia. The Roosevelt High School graduate returned to his native Somalia after high school in 2008, pledging allegiance to terrorist group Al-Shabab.
When Paris endured its first round of terrorism this year at the Charlie Hebdo magazine office, most were condemning the acts. But via twitter, this young Minnesotan was praising the act.
Officials say a Roosevelt High School grad, the young man known as *Miski* has been living in Somalia, pledging allegiance to Al-Shaba, among others.
What is next for Miski? If he will he be questioned in the U.S., that is not clear. The U.S. Mission to Somalia is discussing this case with the Somali Federal Government. For now, he is in custody in Mogadishu.

If you are an immigrant and you go to fight with some jihad group overseas you should never be allowed back in the USA again . Repeat NEVER .....complete and permanent revocation of any U.S. citizenship attained , and permanent persona non grata status . For life . No exceptions .
My guess is living standards in Somalia weren’t quite up to his expectations and thus he’s looking for a free ticket back to Minnesota.........
“My guess is living standards in Somalia werenât quite up to his expectations and thus heâs looking for a free ticket back to Minnesota.........”
That was my first thought also. Even prison here is better than life in Somalia. But he won’t go to prison. He’ll be preaching hate here as soon as he gets back.
He should have detonated in Somalia.
The Germans wrote a law that basically says when you leave and engage in the jihad law....you don’t come back. It’s automatic jail, and they could use the older rule in place that says once your normal jail time ends and they deem you a threat....you just stay on....forever.
But what they’ve discovered is that the bulk of idiots who run off to a jihad war....within six to eight weeks...they generally all want to return home. None of the advertising they were told is making this a positive experience.
I feel sorry for the Minn guy....but I don’t think I’d let him come back.
Mujahid Miski? Miski ? Sounds queer.
Waterboard him. Then feed him to the sharks.
“Still, federal authorities told ABC News they are investigating whether Farook may have left behind social media connections with one of the most active and significant ISIS recruiters, an American from Minneapolis now an FBI fugitive living overseas by the name of Mohamed Hasan who uses the on-line handle Miski.”
ISLAM and all the other stupid extremist identity political groups on the Left are killing liberalism and I don’t think the cuckservatives can save it. Matter of fact I believe they will fail, what DT said last night is just the beginning.
He’s not a Minnesotan... never was. None of them are American, not even the ones born here.
” A Minnesota man...”
“A Somali muslim refugee living in Minnesota, vetted by our infallible DHS...”
There - I think that’s a little clearer.
It should come as no surprise Minneapolis is on the short list for terrorist attacks. Im expecting one any day now.
Leave him there. Let him fight.
He should be detoured on his way “home” and used as a dumb bomb on ISIS somewhere over Syria or Iraq.
Why waste the trip?
This scumbag is the Al Qaeda terrorist recruiter who guided Syed Farook (San Bernardino Christmas party jihadi) and Elton Simpson (Garland, Texas draw mohammed jihadi)
