Who says police canât have a little fun. In 2013, two Slidell police officers decided to help out a business by collecting and bringing back runaway shopping carts. The average cost of a shopping cart ranges from $85-$250 a cart.
The video produced and posted to the departmentâs official Facebook page Monday night is nothing short of amazing and itâs totally hilarious.
So far it has been shared over 1,711 times.

I know who 3 of the 4 guys are who are involved in making this video. One may be the next Police Chief.
I know this area and this Big Lots is located in the kind of area where people tend to bring carts home with them. It probably takes the police to round the carts up.
BTW I've always said we have too many cops around here. But they keep the criminals in check.
My friend owns rooming houses and always there are 15 shopping carts at the rooming house. I know shopping carts are expensive, but most people don’t care, especially at my friend’s rooming houses.
Absolutely Priceless! Thanks so much, BBell. It made my day.
Crazy Cajuns!
I’m not finding the video at the link. There’s a video that instantly plays a variety of videos and a few links and the only link including police is about keeping beards.
How do you close the stupid ARCO commercial? This evil ad just won’t go away!
Got a Youtube link?
Awesome. That is so great.
Talk about a cluttered and unusable website that won’t display the video even after 5 minutes of loading CRAP!
Use this instead.

I have a disabled friend who contracts with grocery stores, BigLots, Walmart, etc. to bring back carts. He borrowed money from me to buy wheels, ‘hoods’ (whatever that is)and now replaces bent, wobbly wheels. Other businesses in the three areas he patrols give him a stipend to keep the carts rounded up, so their customers don’t get Po”D. I do his taxes. He makes a healthy return depite his disability. Entrepenureship.
Thanks for the chuckle
thanks
like a glove !
If you buy a policy, the commercial goes away.
