For the first time, Bill Cosby will face criminal charges in connection with an accusation of sexual assault, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday morning, just ahead of a scheduled press conference by prosecutors in Montgomery County in Pennsylvania.
The AP, citing two unnamed sources in the prosecutorâs office, did not specify the charge or charges against Cosby. People Magazine was also reporting on Wednesday that Cosby would face charges.
This is the second investigation into allegations that the comedian drugged and assaulted Andrea Constand 12 years ago. Constand first accused Cosby of assaulting her in 2005. At the time, prosecutors declined to press charges.

First thought: This is going to be VERY bad for Hillary. Thrusts the whole “rich celebrity predators who get away with it for years” issue front-and-center.
About time. Just listened to the press conference on XMSirius. Sounds like they are finally taking this seriously.
Mixed feelings about this...if proven, then he deserves to pay a price, but I find it odd that ever since he spoke out about the black community, he has been maligned and disregarded by the media and left wing fringe. I mean, why now? After all these years? I don’t get it.
To a feminist rape is cool, depending on the politics of the rapist.
To any dim, that graphic might as well be in Sanskrit or some alien glyphs.
A standup comedian told his audience to google “Cosby rape.” They did...and they found a bunch of old cases, some decades old, from before the Internet, where Cosby had been accused of drugging and raping women and had paid off his accusers. The media picked up on it. They dug up some of the alleged victims. So it wasn’t a case of old victims “suddenly coming forward.” These women had been minding their own business for decades and were suddenly found and dug up. As the publicity increased, more victims came forward to support the other women.
I don’t think this has anything to do with Cosby’s comments about the black community. Other people have spoken out about the black community, and they did not have numerous women come forward to accuse them of rape.
Besides, Cosby is just a self-righteous scold. If you watch interviews of him, it seems he’s always lecturing or scolding somebody. I don’t think he cares that much about the black community or what they do. He just likes to get on a high horse and lecture people.
Two thoughts....1) is this gonna be “he said, she said” or do they have something more convincing...2) will the GOP nominee try to work this into the campaign in any way?
I wonder how they will get around the statute of limitations.
If Obama had a dad...
When will they indict Bill Clinton? He’s a rapist and pedophile. Someone should ask Hillary if this is due to racism.
Where are the criminal charges against Bill Clinton?
I think he likes to point out black underachievement in education just so he, by contrast, seems like Edison. See he has a “real” PhD in education. The title of his deeply intellectual thesis? “An Integration of the Visual Media via Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids Into the Elementary School Curriculum as a Teaching Aid and Vehicle to Achieve Increased Learning”

If this is the government about which the Founders warned us, it's because, with just a few exceptions conspicuous by their rarity, we have become the people they feared we would become.
