Chrome simply stopped working for me today. Rebooted three times, it simply will not load. IE is fine but I dislike it and I want to avoid the hundreds of vulnerabilities. Changed firewall security settings (don't like that either) and reloaded Chrome. Nada.
Anyone else?
Working for me.
Once I had to delete Chrome and install it again to get it working.
Current version is v47.0.2526.111 m
Try Opera. I’ve used it since 2009 and it’s amazing.

Oh, I'm sorry sweetie....
(How 'bout a nice Fresca....)
Are you logged in?
Remove it with the program manager the download it and reinstall it. If that doesn’t fix it, I don’t know what will.
Will Opera work on the old XP computers?
Works fine in Tampa
Try Pale Moon. I like it. Mozilla based browser.
You aren’t clicking on enough ads ...
It’s in love with something called Shockwave Flash. Keeps trying to load it and keeps crashing. Meanwhile, Chrome does NOTHING!
I also use Opera and it’s a pretty good browser.
How do you configure Opera to load a specific set of tabs on startup, regardless of what tabs were present during the last session? I’ve tried Opera many times over the years and gave up because that basic function was not supported (at that time). Maybe this is possible now.
Chrome has become unusable on my macbook. It consume all the working RAM which leads to frequent appearances of the spinning beach ball of death.
Chrome has it’s own task manager (shift esc) which shows it killing 225 mb of ram per tab with no extensions installed.
I did not like Safari six years ago. I have switched over and must say it is a much better product than it was back then. Plus, it doesn’t kill the ram and drive the processor into over drive.
There is a new browser out that I have looked at briefly, though not enough to fairly judge it. It is called vivaldi ( https://vivaldi.com )
Yes, it will certainly do that. Runs on a 2003 Compaq laptop of mine (minus some of the functionality I have come to expect in other browsers and addons).
Chrome stopped working for a short while today. It locked up pretty much everything I had running at the time as well. I took me about 15 minutes to get everything shut down so I could reboot. After that, I haven’t had any issue.
It is supported (v34.0.2036.47). Version 34.0
Opera icon->Settings->On Start-Up->Open a specific page or set of pages (Set pages)
I also wonder if his Beeber is set to stune.
