Trump Goes All 'Alinsky' on Ted Cruz, Calling Him 'An Anchor Baby'
PJmedia ^ | January 30, 2016 | MICHAEL VAN DER GALIEN

Posted on 01/30/2016 10:12:06 AM PST by GodGunsGuts

If Donald Trump wants to make sure no Ted Cruz supporter will ever vote for him, he's doing a terrific job of it. How else to explain his most recent insult calling Cruz "an anchor baby in Canada"?

This is pure insanity... and it's an entirely different kind of attack than what we're used to in politics, especially because it involves two people from the same party...

IMHO, Trump is trying to get Cruz to clean it up....and Cruz is being his usual stubborn, all-knowing self.

Trump neither gains nor loses by bringing it up.

Frankly, I don't think he is eligible. I used the data on all those running in our first election.

As far as the phrse Natural Born.....They were all born in one of the 13 colonies.

it involves two people from the same party...

Hillary was the first to raise birther issues with Obama. What party were they?

And that means he has signed his own political death warrant. If you didn't know any better, you'd almost think he's a Democratic plant whose only goal is to help Hillary Clinton get elected.

I'm starting to wonder. Or he is so arrogant he doesn't think he needs the 20-30% of the a Republican base backing Cruz to win the general. Or, maybe he's certain Cruz supporters will vote for anyone over Hillary. IOW, Trump is treating Cruz supporters exactly in the same way the GOP-e treats the base every election.

And this proves what?

That he was born in Canada? OK.

old news keeps getting reposted. I guess you have nothing else to talk about.

Y’all certainly don’t say anything nice about your candidate, I notice.

Campaign on both sides of the political aisle have been sending out those mailers out for years. Whichever campaign sent it out should apologize and move on. Unless you’re Donald Trump...he doesn’t apologize for anything...not even to God.

That's a good line. However, truth is, he doesn't project anger. He projects strength and determination. Cruz does too, however mildly. The left complains about conservative "anger" whenever they lose elections. God forbid opposition to leftism would be principled and resolute.

Kasich gets grumpy sometimes, that is true. But the anger in American politics is on the left. They have hatred in their hearts and murder in their thoughts. They screech into microphones and try to rile up their thuggish supporters. Don't repeat falsehoods about the right, it only serves to further the left.

Just because Saul Alinsky was a spawn of Satan, doesn’t mean that his tactics don’t work. This it “The Art of War” and the “Art of the Deal” on display for the first time, for the benefit of the American People. You should really relax and enjoy the show! Monday it going to be such fun, and Tuesday a week is going to be even better. :-)

The way things are progressing, Cruz might be so damaged that he might not be able to win reelection to the Senate.

I’m not sure thats a good thing.
