Well, I would adapt the definition of "mansplaining," which is: "to explain something to someone, typically a man to woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing."

So "leftsplaining" would be: "to explain something to someone, typically a progressive leftist to a conservative, in a manner that is condescending or patronizing, and utterly unsupported by objective observation, historical reality or rational thought."
