Cruz sincerely tried to shrink/repeal/stop Obamacare, and the GOP establishment sincerely tried to stop Cruz. The establishment won, but I don’t blame Cruz for that.

And he was just one man. I’m curious what the Trumpers think Trump will do. It takes a vote in Congress to repeal it unless they want Trump to become dictator which some of them have hinted they do.

Besides, Trump did say he liked the mandate;)

GOP big donors love socialized medicine because it gets health care off their books.

Actually they love socialized medicine because it gets the cost of health care on OUR books.

Which single Senator filibustered the budget and shut down the government in order to get Republicans to stand by their pledge to cut off funding for 0bamaCare?

“GOPe Republicans LOVE Obamacare. GOP big donors love socialized medicine because it gets health care off their books.”

Amen. The Establishment makes noise about 0bamaCare, but their Chamber of Crony Capitalists requires that they do nothing effective to defund it (like shutting down the government). That way, they keep conservatives on the RINO plantation with words, and the cash flowing from the corporate jerks who get their 0bamaCare relief from funding their employee’s healthcare!

Win / Win for the Establishment.

Except: Cruz filibustered McConnell. That really pi$$ed them off.

That's funny, somehow cruz was able to get TPA passed? Maybe if he put the same serious effort into repealing obamacare it would have actually happened.

The November 2014 elections were the line in the sand for me, to demonstrate whether there was an opposition party or not. That question has now been thoroughly answered. The Repubs have full bore adopted the same voting bloc pandering technique the Demos have been using for decades, with the same sort of dreadful results for the constituency. The quicker people wake up to that sorry game, the better.

Ted Cruz hasn’t accomplished a goddamned thing in DC.

All talk, no action, and he can’t win.

HE IS A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHRILLARY! looks like she’s about to keel over, the communist DNC will toss her and put up Biden/Sanders and make mincemeat out of the Canadian/Mormon fellow traveler.

Neil Bush is an effin criminal and part of the Cruz campaign.

Typical Trumper response but never answers the question.

The question is, what do you think Trump will do to get rid of Obamacare? The only thing he can do is sign a repeal passed by Congress and even with a GOP House and Senate, we couldn’t even get a repeal.

So again, what do you think Trump will or should to to get it’s repeal?

Hey Ted you and your fellow Republicans said this back in 2013.

You said if Republicans won both the House and the Senate you would stop Obama and Obamacare.

You did not do it?

What’s your excuse this time?

The answer is one that you will have trouble understanding, but here it is: "Leadership"

Some of my friends insist that Trumpkins are the stupidest, least educated parrots they have ever seen in politics..

I am going to send them a copy of this thread.

We have been listening to this crap since 2010. We voted for and sent people to do that. Have they, Hell no, and they haven’t even tried.

The House controls the spending bills but nary a bill defunding this. Not even a bill passed to repeal, yes we know it would be Vetoed but still make the effort.

I know that voting Republican, and especially those that claim to be Conservative, may just about be over.

The Republican Party needs to be destroyed and all the Infidels thrown out.

Oh just where was the Republican Plan for Health Care Reform. Oh thats right there wasn’t one.

Trump at least will offer something to replace it with.

If the Republicans had done something like that then maybe they could have built some support.
