Question for Trump Supporters about their Local talk show hosts (rare vanity)
self | 3/30/16 | self

Posted on 03/30/2016 2:58:50 PM PDT by gg188

My local talk radio is at least NINE hours per day of Trump hate. Beck, Levin and a CNN contributor/local guy Ben Ferguson.

I certainly can see talk show hosts being divided, perhaps even with a majority supporting globalism/establishment.

BUT it is ALL TRUMP HATE/ALL THE TIME.

I just wanted to know (from Trumpers, this is a Trumpers only thread): IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR LOCAL TALK RADIO STATION(S) LIKE MINE? Does this unanimity seem a bit..coincidental? It all seemed to happen at one time. All their rants are INTERCHANGEABLE. Their rants are the same anti-Trump screeds you see online, no matter how big of a stretch a given criticism might by, how hypocritical, there's zero critical thinking involved.

They jump knee-jerk style to whatever position on a topic is OPPOSITE of Trump's.

Ben Ferguson has the all hate Trump show. He lies constantly, thinking his audience is a bunch of idiots.

I think I read what Napolotano said about Fields.

EVEN if 100% of talk radio were anti-Trump, the odds are there would at least be a decent percentage, in my opinion, who would view the Fields video differently.

But that's almost like a litmus test: the anti-Trumpers unanimously say:

Field was shoved to the ground, and stomped, and Trump should have fired the guy and he didn't, which shows he's not conservative. Ms. Fields is a kind, sweet innocent little snowflake, minding her own business when the brute working for Trump sought her out, ran her down, bit her and kicked her and stomped her for good measure. Corey should do hard time, at least 20 years and pay civilly 100 million dollars for violating the rights of the lovely flower Michelle Fields. (Beck, Levin, Ferguson basically gave that description.)

You are SO right. I figure he’s not on many stations (he is awful even the Trump thing notwithstanding.) So I am glad that someone here can confirm my interpretation of his words these days about Trump. He is so full of hate himself-—OR it’s an act for $$$. He is a carbon copy of Beck’s and Levin’s shows. So 9 hours a day; that’s what we get here.

Mine genuinely seems to be uncommitted and says whoever the party nominates he'll vote for. This is from a guy who couldn't stand GWB because he executed a female in Texas and said he wrote in Mickey Mouse (he gives too much deference to women, and it comes across as condescending and phony). He ended up hating Sarah Palin. I don't like calling in but occasionally do, haven't for a long time. He's skillful at overtalking people so it can always be about his opinions and go in the direction he wants. And he is totally crazy about guns.

Surprisingly the callers don't bring up politics as much as local issues. My concern is most of the regulars, maybe all, are on the elderly side. There are very few young voices. We have a nasty BLM caller who would be younger, totally uninformed.

Divided with the majority being anti-Trump, but I wouldn’t necessarily say they are Trump “haters”.

Not much patience with the pro-Trump call-ins though. Most of them are too caught up in the game.

NH and MA isn’t so bad. Laura Ingraham then Jeff Kuhner or Rush then Hannity or Howie Carr. So just Rush for Trump hate and then only part time.

That "FULL-THROATED CONSERVATIVE" that Rush used to describe Rubio---that was simply BIZARRE. Even someone who might have supported him would not say that. Good gosh. Gang of 8 plus everything else we know about him, and he's a "Full Throated Conservative"?

Rush must be back on the oxys.

VERY well said. And Cruz wants to elbow HIS way up to the DC trough, get him a teat there. He owes a LOT to a LOT of crony capitalists. His job will be to keep the border free and open, keep the flow of immigrants coming in, pass TPP and the WTO trade deals that will follow, and the promote/implement the NAU.

I can’t remember the last time I have listened to any of these guys. It’s been years. They are completely irrelevant in my opinion.

OMG Thank G-d for that overhead video.

Sadly people who hate Trump will do just as you describe to stop him. (More reason to support)

As a teacher I had a student go to the principal about brushing into me. I had to stand an immediate hearing where (fortunately for me) her three friends stood up for me. The principal told me this is rare and I must have a very good relationship with the class for these kids to stand with me against their friend who clearly expected to have me erased from my job over this. This happens all the time and is part of the reason I support the Trumpster for his anti PC message.

Absolutely, BUT if Cruz DID get the nomination, CONSERVATIVE talk radio would be in heaven, based on what they say now. And THEY are the ones who have now DEFINED being “CONSERVATIVE” to being for open borders, amnesty, bring in all the Syrians, Muslims and Mexicans, and go along with every trade deal the WTO and crony capitalists cook up to reduce the US to third world status.

Rush is an across the board conservative. Do you really think he’s going to get behind a guy who holds out the Canadian and Scottish health care system as a role model and who favors the individual mandate. Trump is on record supporting gun control, abortion etc. If you think that El Rushville is going to fall in line behind a guy that just became a conservative 15 minutes ago on amnesty you were sadly mistaken.

I’m never spent money for a radio talk person in order to listen to daily shows but I really think I’m going to pay to listen to Laura. I need her humor and take on the political issues right now.

John and Ken @ kfiam640.com Los Angeles market 2-6 PM and Tim Conway Jr. at the same station, 6-10 PM are favorable toward Trump, especially John Kobylt.

I highly recommend their podcasts because they’re commercial free. How anyone can listen to talk radio live, with all those commercials must not have any other choice.

kfiam640.com/media for the podcasts.

I think he and all of the Washington Elite Establishment Uniparty will stand behind GLOBALISM---taking US sovereignty away with open borders, unlimited immigration, trade deals that provide unlimited immigration with the signatories, and a North American Union.

If someone still thinks that the paradigm is conservative vs liberal, they are living in the 20th century. OUR EXISTENCE as a NATION is threatened RIGHT NOW by GLOBALISTS. They are an EXISTENTIAL THREAT.

I hope we can return to our sovereignty and we conservatives can beat back liberalism. We won't even have that happen if the globalists and the muslims take over.

Remember, our issue in this election is very simple.

GLOBALISTS versus PATRIOTS.

If we don't stop globalism, there will be no country to be conservative IN.
