Dems giddy over reported Laura Bush endorsement for Hillary Clinton April 11, 2016 | Carmine Sabia | Print Article

Democrats giddy about Laura Bush‘s recent comments on the presidential election are getting a dose of reality.

Last week, the former first lady was speaking at the Women In The World summit in New York when she made a statement that caused some to jump to the conclusion that Mrs. Bush is “ready for her.”

“I want our next president — whoever he or she might be — to be somebody who is interested in women in Afghanistan and who will continue U.S. policies … that we continue to do what we’re committed to do as a country,” Bush said.

“That’s who I want — or the kind of people that will do that and will pay attention to our history, and know what’s happened before and know specifically how we can continue to do the good things that we do around the world,” she continued.

Did that mean Mrs. Bush was supporting Hillary Clinton for president?

I remember this. I also remember that Section 8 vouchers aren’t “homeownership”, nor are unqualified ‘qualified’ loans at 110% of value, with the only qualification being minority status being legitimate sustainable homeownership.

Bad loans, federally backed, bundled into worthless packages whose original loan amounts are “derived” to give a fictitious inflated value all round the world in Credit Derivatives that gave us Obama and his 7 years of LIES.

The first time I heard Ray was late one night when he was talking about Paula Jones. He asked for a limerick. In a couple minutes, I was on the show with:

That Paula, he thought, was some filly
When pants dropped she thought him quite silly
But then later she’d file
And he soon lost his smile
He shouldn’t have whipped out ol’ Willy

That started the Polimericks and two Clinton limerick books. Each day Ray had a word of the day. Within just a couple minutes I would fax him a limerick that contained the word and he’d read it on the air.

Let them take care of themselves. Is that mean?

No! It's not mean, it's realistic and prudent. I'm sick of spending American blood and treasure defending people who hate us.

"Doing the round of TV talkshows, punting her mildly interesting autobiography Spoken from the Heart, Laura Bush last night visited Larry King's CNN chatshow – an ancient US tradition, similar to an incoming British prime minister kissing the Queen's ring. During the interview she makes it clear that she supports gay marriage and – in some circumstances – a woman's right to choose abortion. All of which puts her slightly to the left of the current occupant of the White House. Which is great but ... now you tell us."

There was a time whenever anyone posted anything negative about W they’d better have a lot of flame retardant. Not so much anymore. People are waking up.

I just wish they’d wake up to who their friends are running for president. It’s Hillary and one other republican. And it sure ain’t Trump.

If you’re insinuating that Cruz is the clear better alternative to Trump, I am DEFINITELY not on board with that.

‘Republican’ doesn’t cut it with me any more. Destroying the entrenched DC status quo does.

I put Cruz in the gopE camp. That means I don’t think he’s a better alternative to anyone.

It sure looks that way now to me, too! He’s the GOP alternative because he’s what’s left in the #NEVERTRUMP clique. At least unit the second or third round of delegate votes in the convention if Trump doesn’t walk in with 1237.

Yes. This push to allow unqualified borrowers to flood the system ruined the economy, pushing the national debt to where it will most likely never be paid off, is most definitely one of the main reasons we ended up with Obama. Thank you Dubya.

We’re looking at yet another crash of our monetary system because of all the money printed by the Federal Reserve under Obama.

They were never worth backing back then and they aren’t worth backing now, or ever. Live in the house for a few months and then walk away after Aaron Rents and Rooms-to-Go repossess. Property taxes unpaid, utilities unpaid. Grass and weeds all over the lawn. HOA fees unpaid and all the other costs. Lowlife scum that take advantage of us like they’re on Section 8, WICs, SNAP, AFDC, TANF and all the rest. Nothings in the scheme of things.

I remember you were the limerick guy too. Too bad the rest of the nation didn’t get to listen to George and Ray. Old school radio guys like Bob Grant in NY. They ran rings around today’s blabbermouths like Rush, Levin and Beck.

The only woman in whom Hillary is interested is Hillary.

Can someone point me to the actual quote where she says she is voting for Hillary? I’m not finding it.

I read the story yesterday and there is no such quote. It's all MSM spin that the Dims and Bushaters are picking up on.
