My father was a pastor who didn’t believe in “wearing your Christianity on your sleeve.” Also warned me to be VERY careful of those who do.
Since Cruz wears his on both sleeves and makes such a point to make sure everyone knows how he “prays so much”, and his “awesome values”, blah blah I’ve become interested in what his religious beliefs truly are....and they are very, scary indeed.
Something in Scripture about that idea. Deeds. Prayers in your room. Something like that?
Although Trump said that he never asked God for forgiveness for anything, so how does that qualify him as a Christian in your opinion? Perhaps because he might go to a Church occasionally?

Jesus called out those who liked to pray loudly and publicly. When you pray go to your closet and pray in private. It is interesting that Jesus criticized the religious people more than anyone else.
