Hillary Clinton and Adolph Hitler Compared
Self | 06-10-2016 | Captain Peter Blood

Posted on 06/10/2016 10:49:04 AM PDT by Captain Peter Blood

I am a huge World War II buff and have read and continue to read a lot about that war. A few months ago I realized that for all my reading as a history buff that I had never read a really good biography of Franklin D. Roosevelt. After doing a fair amount of research I settled on James MacGregor Burns’ two volume biography. I was most interested in FDR and the war years. Mr. Burns is a excellent historian and I have not been disappointed by his writing.

Right now I am reading volume two on FDR and the war years and the other night I came across a couple of pages where Mr. Burns wrote of Hitler and Roosevelt and comparing the two.

As we all know the Democrat’s and Hillary are doing their best to compare Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler, but in a close perusal of what Mr. Burns wrote of Hitler, it almost seemed in some ways he was writing about Hillary Clinton. I realize lots of things are subjective so I will let you come to your own conclusions. The following are some of the observations made about Hitler

(A) Hitler as a boy hated and feared his father and loves his mother, moved repeatedly from place to place and from school to school. Had a sense of self that was at once overblown and empty

(B) Hitler showed little ability to change and adjust.

(C) Hitler emitted at most a barking gurgle.

(D) Hitler loved the grandiose, the morbid, the apocalyptic.

(E) Hitler was an Ideologist. In his five decades of vagrancy, and of trench life, political combat, and finally the conquest of power, he had forged a system of values, a rigid theory of change, and a strategy of political action. The values were folkish, racist, xenophobic; they assaulted everything precious to the liberal mind-eagalitarianism, altruism, tolerance, religion, individual liberty, internationalism.

(F) Hitler’s theory of change was not of personal flexibility and adaptation, but of unremitting racial and national conflict and brutal violence, with the strong climbling to power over the bodies of the weak; there was no place for flabby liberal notions of due process, minority rights, civil liberty, parliamentarianism, gradualism, accommodation.

(G) Hitler was a true Ideologist in that his values, his theory of change, and his political strategy meshed perfectly. And as an Ideologist he considered his adversaries not merely wrong or evil, but also mad.

(H) Hitler was a man possessed of a rage for recognition and deference far beyond that of most other politicians and everyone else for that matter. 1

Hillary Clinton has a number of these points in common with Hitler and I have no doubt she will be a monster herself if she is elected president. Our economy will not improve and we will be enmeshed and ensnared in host of foreign wars without end. She will want to prove she is as tough as any man and the way for her to do that is send our military to war.

1 Some of these comments on Hitler were from James MacGregor Burns’ book “Roosevelt: The Soldier of Freedom”.

To me Hillary Clinton is much more closer in similarities to Adolph Hitler. Almost scary in a way, yet we are being sold on a bill of goods that she, and she, can save us and lead us to the promised land. My opinion is that she will lead alright, lead us to total disaster from which we will not be able to recover from.

Both needed a scapegoat, somebody to blame all our troubles on and both claimed that only the government could fix the problem. Hitler blamed the Jews, Hillary blames the conservatives and the rich, although she is one of them.

The use of military spending to keep the economy functioning is the biggest of all.

It is the central point of fascism.

Somebody ought to give Glenn Beck this clue, he keeps thinking its Trump that’s the second Hitler.

She is less like Hitler and more like Ernst Thalmann, the Stalinist who ran against Hitler. If she wins, we will not become Nazi Germany, but rather the American version of the former USSR—which we are approaching already via the present occupant of the Oval Office.

P.S. Don’t read into this that I think Trump is Hitler, because I don’t think he is Hitler. As I’ve said over the last year, he is the Biblical equivalent of Jehu, and Hillary is Jezebel (or Athaliah, take your pick).

How about comparing Hillary with Dr. Janice Lester of the Star Trek TOS episode “Turnabout Intruder”?

Be careful of Godwin’s law.

Did you ever consider that Hillary's people may have invented Godwin's law in order to protect her?

Thanks for that info, I will look him up. I probably had forgotten about him But all these kind of insights I think are important. We, as a nation, have already forgotten the recent history and the lessons of W.W. II.

Since you are a WWII buff, you no doubt know the original title Hitler wanted for My Struggle. For anyone who doesn’t know, it was, ‘Four and a Half Years of Struggle Against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice.’

I seem to remember reading parts of Mein Kamph when I was studying Political Science. Long time ago. I did read when I was in high school William L Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich", might be time to re-read it after all these years. Thanks for your info.

Godwin is a lefty lawyer. He promulgated this “Law” to preempt the obvious comparisons between communists, fascists and progressives. It’s just another attempt to stifle speech. Sure the Hitler comparison is thrown out too much. But with the DemoncRATs actively calling Trump a Hitler it;s time to take the gloves off. Liberals ARE fascists. Liberals DO use violence easily and as something far from a last resort. It is their first default position whenever they are opposed and the opposition doesn’t knuckle under to their sick rhetoric.

I read “R&FotTR” but when it came to Mein Kampf I could never get through more than a chapter or too. A disjointed and rambling read. As to be expected from a nut.
