I don’t like Romney, in fact I don’t like a whole lot of Republicans, but if Trump wants to bury hatchets and drop beefs, that’s up to him.

One thing seems certain, he is demonstrating that he is a lot more reasonable a man than some of these people attempted to paint him as during the primary and beyond.

Wow, after what Mitt did. Maybe bringing in Cruz too. One has to compare this to Lincoln bringing into his cabinet Salmon Chase, William Seward and Edward Bates who all fought for the nomination ahead of Lincoln and were more or less openly hostile to him. Lincoln figured they were the right guys and that they had strong influence over various wings of the party but it was a crisis and it would help him govern to have them so he’d just have to figure out how to manage them all. A bold move, and I don’t know if it’s been done since on that scale. This would be akin to it.
