You know jet streams as fast-flowing air currents in the atmosphere that can help predict temperature and help planes fly faster. According to data sent back by a trio of ESA satellites called Swarm, though, there's also a jet stream deep beneath our planet's surface, and it's made of molten iron. A team of European scientists have discovered the jet stream in the Earth's outer core that's located 1,900 miles underneath its crust. It moves at 25 miles per year, three times faster than the speed of the other layers in the outer core and a thousand times faster than our planet's tectonic plates.
Now, 25 miles per year doesn't sound speedy at all, considering jet streams in the atmosphere can go as fast as 250 mph. "[B]ut you have to remember this is a very dense liquid metal," Dr. Chris Finlay from the National Space Institute at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Space) told BBC. "[I]t takes a huge amount of energy to move this thing around and that's probably the fastest motion we have anywhere within the solid Earth."
The scientists who discovered the rapidly-moving stream of metal believes it's the result of two core layers moving towards a single boundary due to buoyancy or changes in the magnetic field within the core. When the liquids meet at that boundary, the mixture is squeezed out sideways to form the jet.

indeed. and the mayor of New York City will soon announce a new multi-billion dollar tax on NYC millionaires to build a seawall or something to protect NYC from events a few million years from now or something.
A couple of weeks back I stumbled on a guy that has been working on a theory that the Earth has “EarthSpots” similar to “Sunspots”, which are essentially fluctuations in the earths magnetic core. Sunspots create solar wind that impact our planet by interacting with the earthspots and when they hit just right, cause earthquakes. Essentially, he is using this methodology to predict earthquakes, and has been right on several recently. The website is http://www.suspicious0bservers.org/

The article has no mention of global warning being the direct cause of molten lead jet streams...
We all know global warming is the cause of everything either new or bad...

25 miles per year is not so much a jet stream as a really slow Piper Cub stream.
This is likely the result of Global Warming / Climate Change... If we tax people, we can solve this problem tout suite.
I was interested yesterday when one earth scientist said we may be witnessing the nascent stages of polarity reversal.
Trying to get my head around the physics. Incredible discovery.
I ate some of this molten substance once, back when it was called a McDonald’s Apple Pie.
And the proponents of globaloney warming refuse to include any of these geological changes to maybe explain any minor “warming.”
Undersea lava flows adding to undersea “mountains” (and increased dissolved gases in seawater or minorly affecting the sea levels) or, somehow, this incredible amount of heat in the earth’s core migrating to the surface are all absent from the discussion.
